Last night's episode was good,I actually enjoyed it
I keep tryin to fuck with this show and keep being disappointed. The writing is terrible and the directing is worse. Fight scenes look silly as fuck. Firestorm is useless to be so powerful, and the actor that plays Jax gets on my nerves more and more. So....the kid that supposedly grows up and is the stepping stone to Savage taking over the world can be kidnapped and have a gun put to his head with no fucks given about the affect on the timeline, but them going to the future to save Rip's family is out of the question, huh? Pretty sure no one in history really gives a fuck about his family other than him. This show is boo boo.

I don't know if I want to see how bad it can get or just the train wreck effect that you have to stop and see.
As to last night episode if the whole point is for them to stop VS and the only way to stop him is for hawk girl to kill him... These soft ass fools are doomed.

They believe and based on the ratings they are correct just showing a ridiculous dc team up every week filled with characters we would have never in our wildest dreams imagined would be fully realized on screen would be enough.
They are using characters from a ridiculously deep dc b and c list that could potentially lead to yet another lucrative tv series.
So they win all around.
But we lose because bad product WILL eventually kill the golden goose, I really don't think they can continue on with a bad super hero version of the a-team meets doctor who for 100 episodes.

Agree we lose in the long run and sadly when it does come to bite them in the ass like the BvS drop off, they still fail to learn where they fucked up.
Like that bullshit last night when you do get firestorm in a battle he's the most stiff wooden predictable fighter ever.
Looking back he was a bad choice overall
He is 2 people which cool as a solo series but he is just to dam powerful.
They needed to give him a concrete weakness...he can't stay joined for more then 5 min or the real weakness in the comics he can't mess with organics or he something environmental like he gives off too much radiation and endangers others or creates to much toxic waste so he has to limit his powers SOMETHING.
When you have these god like heroes like Thor or superman (even hulk) etc they get old fast. Biggest mistake Marvel did was lock Hulk up and essentially forget Banner. He is a damn Greek tragedy walking you don't want to lose that. But it does work in a group dynamic.
This show can work but it is obvious they rushed it and also are spread too then between this arrow and flash.
They REALLY needed to study doctor who more, and shows that work large groups every week like the walking dead, grays anatomy the 100, csi, etc.
Every mission should be cool and have a real payoff. I have no idea why they don't just jack quantum leap for story and any successful cop/government agent procedural on CBS.

And thst is the issue, and with a premise like this u need high stakes and can't cheat and bend time rules, Flash should now be the dc time travel bible for tv and film.
In the comic lazarus pit kills almost everyone besides Ras, EVERYONE.
Firestorm supposed an athlete a boy scout driven to be the hero he couldn't be on the field, sorta like Booster gold without the asshole qualities. Not corny or dorky of insecure or incomfortable. He is badly written I won't blame the actor, yet.
He should be the first one rushing in making up plays Frontline thrill seeking making the most out everything but secretly afraid of injury again.
He is poorly written....but his delivery of lines is more and more ass the more I watch.

Yeah I like the Wally West cat too. Im waiting to see what they gonna do with that character. I rewatched Young Justice last week to get the DC hate out my system after BvS, so I'm hyped about where that character could go. Overall though, I think LoT is a fail. Its a stupid premise that, by its own reasoning, cant go on more than a season or two. I mean....they gonna spend multiple seasons having super powered people impacting the time line but they cant just go to one point and change the thing that is the main motivation? Its dumb.
Yeah, every line comes off as if he is that hood black kid that can't control his attitude. He was the same way in Attack the Block. He needs to find it down a bit and kill the facial expressions.

it would LITERALLY be like those old DC showcase comics one season long adventure with a group of b/c list characters

Cold sounds like a 1930's gangster now.
And all this I will kill the kid is just posturing unless all the bullsh*t they have put us through the last few episodes to show his growth is wasted. He CAN be a Cold stone killer but that just didn't work.
So they give the kid a SPEECH and expect that to fix everything?
As a parent let me just tell you something...
you gonna need more than nuclear powers and a time machine to make a kid change their mind that easily.
So the BIG BAD of the entire series just gets to walk free and so do they?

We ALL knew Atom aint had no kid...

Noticed how they kind of bit off of Iron Man 1 & 2 with the scene where Atom was fighting the robots that were made with his suit technology
