I've noticed this about you. If your mind can't imagine it then it's unrealistic lol. Neighborhoods policing themselves isn't a radical concept or new. Also if you allow these officers to lose their pension if they are involved in these shootings and or be sued that would serve as a deterrent. People only care when their pockets are affected

I didn't say they did...the impoverished neighborhoods suffer the most from over policing and harassment. That's a day to day tragedy that you wouldn't understand because you don't live there. I grew up in that kind of community. A cop killing an unarmed black male isn't the only trauma we have to deal with when it comes to law enforcement.

I totally understand.It’s not about valuing her word, it’s about viewing the video and basing an opinion on the video.
A gun and a taser are two totally different weapons to hold and I know that. But for her to yell out “Taser” three times just so that she’d be covered by law when she purposefully shot him with her gun is a little far fetched. In my opinion.
She shouldn’t have drawn her weapon, it wasn’t needed because he wasn’t threatening anyone’s life. But when people are resisting arrest cops pull out stun guns to taser the suspects.
I think many are thinking emotionally and not thinking rationally. I’m always fuck the police.l, but realistically speaking. Do you really think she waited 25 years on the force to shoot a 20 year old who wasn’t violent, but running away from a weed warrant?
She’s in the wrong, she should’ve been fired and hopefully she’ll be prosecuted. We all know the city’s going to pay so that’s not up for debate.
