If you actually declare your crypto activity on your tax returns like you're supposed to, you'll pay whatever you owe and the IRS is happy.

As long as you are not able to purchase things that are associated with wealth and power there is a problem, ie, barrels of crude oil, military weapons, major real estate, large boats, planes, and worker salaries.
Because without the ability to do the things legit currency is able to do, I look at crypto as no more than a place-holder for real currency or a glorified token, that will eventually be taxed when it's eventually converted to purchase the things you cannot buy with crypto.
I will add that I am not an expert on the subject, but this is a big red flag for me.

I’ve had IRS problems and I honestly hate them and would not want that shit again. The taxes and fees are outrageous.
