grizzlies what the hell are you going to do for an offense?
Ask Toronto to send back Rudy Gay

For this .1 sec. There needs to be an all big lineup. The shortest cat shuld be 6'10
exactly.. z-bo wasn't even in the game. after the season when everyone is wondering why a coach that just set the franchise record for wins just got fired? (lionel hollins) just look back at these last two games.tony allen did all he could do on that one. one of those bigs needed to come and block from the weak side. there was no way he could have gotten a good pass off with that amount of time and a score. plus he was off balance too
everybody in the world can see this but the coach1. slow the game down.
2. put both gasol & randolph on the block... do NOT allow them above the FT line.
3. make the clippers take 12+ ft jump shots... and just let crawford throw-up as many as he likes.
do these 3 things and memphis wins easily.
what's killing memphis is conley's & princes ABILITY to make a jumper and randolph's slow ass trying to bully the much more athletic clippers big men.

If Memphis wants to win this series they have to forcefeed their bigs.
first, zach randolph shouldn't have been in the game on that play.
good call by coach hollins..
guess what that gets you... bounced out in the first round of the playoffs two years in a row..second, coach hollins has improved the grizzlies record every season he's been there, and did it while never having the same starting 5 in any season.
so one of the best defensive teams in the league shouldn't play their bigs and let the other team win with a layup

trying to force feed the post is why the fakers lost G1. throwing the ball into congestion is never a good idea.
grizzlies have to start marc gasol in the high post, zach randolph in the low post to create some space on the floor.
problem is, nobody outside of keyon dooling is a respectable outside threat to keep the clippers honest.
Well perhaps I should clarify
I mean that the offense should start there primarily for a reason that you mention from time to time.
Starting the offense from there forces the defense to have to rotate.
It is true that Memphis still has to hit jumpshots but by not going inside out it allows the Clippers defense to better nullify Memphis on the perimeter
M-D,
what's hurting the grizzlies (on O) is their lack of outside threat.
last in the league in 3FGM
last in the league in 3FGA
seventh worst 3FG%
having post offensive threats like marc gasol and zach randolph isn't as effective when the opponent can sag off, pack the paint, and/or double whenever they please
if they want to defeat the clippers, the grizzlies are going to have to pressure the ball and take it out of chris paul's hands.
i agree.
and this is why i'm scratching my head. conley is the most INCONSISTENT point guard in the league shooting the ball... and is too small & too light in the ass to consistently penetrate and challenge the bigs.
they need rudy gay. period.
and why the fuck did they acquire prince... dude can't hit the broad side of a barn with the basketball.

If the grizzlies had one money shooter they'd be almost impossible to beat.
Just one that you can't leave on the three line...
And defensively they did the best they could do personnel wise
I think you both are right ...finding two and keeping them would be hard to do. Just look at what okc had to do in the off seasonI think you need 2 good shooters on a team to keep defenses honest. The three is too big a weapon these days.
I would post a whole bunch of articles about why this is so and why more teams are emphasizing it going forward
but dudes arent going to read it so I aint even bothering

Well 2 reasons
Rudy is inefficient and they did it for money reasons
