I disagree. MAGA is a white supremacy movement, plan and simple. They don't like black people and don't want us around. They want to use the force of the government to keep us segregated. That is not a conservative ideal. Why would I be friends with someone who supports that?

What makes MAGA any more white supremacist than Bush lying and saying Arabs would start acting like us if we bombed them enough? Any more than Reagan kicking off his presidential campaign where the freedom riders got murdered?
Folks got to stop acting like the new problem is worse than the original problem. That's where you come in because that's what friends do. We stand for for each other when we're in trouble, no matter how stupid that trouble may be.
Sometimes you have to say no or love them from a distance, but never turn your back completely because nobody's immune from foolishness and dumb decisions. Not even you.
