Dope.

5 years to make one single cigar?

That's dope I gotta go. I already had trip to the Bahamas planned for the end of this year.

Think I'm gonna bump up my trip back to DR just for this factory.

Any cigar recommendations to try?

R & j is my preference, cigarellos are way to small but the overall flavor and taste is light and smooth. If you enjoy them try Davidoffs, they are very similar. I was a big Partagas smoker for awhile and again if you enjoy them try some Fuentes, another great smoke.

right now,

Im hooked on these romeo and julieta cigarellos...

but the best cigar...

Im feeling partargas short....

the real cuban joints tho!!

funny you asked.. I learned this also when i first got put on by an OG cigar Man..

Companies like - Cohiba, Punch, Romeo & juliet, Davidoff, Monte Cristo All Are cuban Origin . When castro got rid of the rich white cubans who had claim to these companies they all fled to different places mainly Dominican Rep, Honduras and Nicaragua .

This is how u have Cohiba and Cohiba cubans = the main difference between cigars from the same brand one with a cuban label and without is the tobacco.. They Grow the best Tabacoo in Cuba and the process used to make them hence a Real cuban can go for min 20 and up for one stick.

So i say this if u go to La aurora they are the number one Dominican Cigar Company u will find something in there I promise .. Try them all..

The Davidoff , Montecristo Factory is a little harder to get into u have to set it up like u have a business or want to do business with them..

A friend gave me a Perdomo Lot 23 and Ive been hooked since. The easiest place to buy Cubans is online. You can try www.cigarsofhabanos.com (They are reasonable) for regulars I shop at www.cigars.com. I like small companies as well !!!

Leaf by (Oscar) Smooth Maduro ...just lit it once and it burned straight through..plus it comes wrapped in a Tobacco Leaf

Just ordered these..which includes Royal Danish Cigars (Havana Edition) pictured on the bottom

Personally Cubans are good but there is also alot of good smoke (cigars) that is just as good even better ,its a matter of preference !!!

I have this on those special occasions when you want to pair your cigar with something nice

Its Japanese Whisky

This is a general question to the thread, What type of Cuts or clips do u use on your cigars.. ??

I started with the Standard cutter then moved to the Cigar Punch. 3 months ago my bro put me on to the V-cutter I love that 2 . now it depends on the stick i smoke whether i choose the punch or V-cutter

I prefer a standard cut. was liking the v cut for a while, but started to smoke more torpedo shaped cigars and perfectos, so you have to cut those with a flat cutter.

I Started smoking about 15 years ago, and got really deep into the "hobby" aspect of it, buying expensive cubans, expensive lighters & cutters- after a while, you will start to figure out what you really like, and not what is popular. Imo, dominicans are as good today as any cuban.

So, keep an open mind, remember that more expensive doesn't necessarily mean better (especially to a newer smoker) and TRY ALL KINDS OF BRANDS!!.

Enjoy and welcome to the wonderful world of cigars!

I think the Cuban fantasy has been beaten by the growers from other countries who have perfected growing in their region with different seed

Thanks for that bit of history never knew that's how it was split. But yes Cuban tobacco is on point. That's why I always asked which tobacco was in some of these cigars before I bought them.

.

Great Fucking Cigar !!!!

If you want some everyday smoke at a reasonable price. I think its like $20 - $25 for a 5 pack

www.cigarbundlesofmiami.com

Thanks for this will definitely try this.

Will try that Hibiki

Anyone like the Gurkah cigars?

Depends on the cigar. I usually go for the standard cut above the capline for a smooth draw.

The torpedo cigars I cut a little more to draw from so I'll do a Vcut.

Usually I'll make a small straight cut just to taste it then recut so I can draw more.

I use to fuck up my cigars cutting them too much so now I start small so they don't unravel.

I thought the cigar punches fucked up your cigars tho.

Perdomo are my go to. Used to be Gloria Cubana Series R. All are Maduros

Im gonna have to explore the Persomo brand more. Never knew much about them.

Yeah I'm straight cutter as well.

Have a double blade guillotine similar to that one I paid 30 dollars for but left it with pops
I left half my cigar collection with him and my best tobacco pipe.
