Here is the problem with that in the real world..
In most hoods (by hoods I am referring to typical high crime areas) there are usually 5% or less people responsible for the shit that goes down, the rest of them are reacting to the dust that the 5% are kicking up.
Now what you said is a good idea and can help most of the kids, but from my experience, those 5% are like predators and will wind up looking for ways to capitalize off it.. For example they are the type to break into rec centers or enroll into programs to recruit hookers or other gang members.. I seen it happen in NYC when there was a program here called the Door,
What winds up happening is, if left unchecked the 5% will cause the rest of the population to feel unsafe and vulnerable, and whats usually the case they will join a crew for protection that the flawed system is not able to provide..
In the 90's most of us stay strapped, not because we were killers or thugs, but because we was afraid of the 5% (we called them hard rocks back then) and before you knew it everyone had a gun trying to act hard so that the hard rocks would not prey on them.. The problem is that by acting hard others would think you was a hard rock and was quicker to shoot you out of fear.
In my 15 plus year working with the troubled youth, I think one thing is for certain any solution to help the masses, must include identifying and dealing with the 5% while preventing them from being born, being that most of them are raised in similar situation, single parent household, young mother, lots of siblings and a family that has a history of crime..
Because of this I and others are advocating that anyone under 26 must have a licence to have a child and in order to get one, both parents must attend some classes on proper parenting, saving, and simple logic. If anyone has a child with out a license their tubes should be tied while the father given a vasectomy.
Of course they will never do this, instead they will sit back crying how things need to change..
Let me break down how fucked up the 5% are, first they influence everyone in their hood to dress and act alike, claiming it fashion, then when they get into some shit they try to blend in with the crowd so they won't get popped by the boys, then they preach don't snitch and if they catch you snitching they will kill, even if its their homie. But here is the kicker, they will not hesitate to get a sucka to take a charge for them just to save their asses..
Whats sad is that most folks are such pussies that instead of confronting the people who are using them like chumps, they protect them more than they do their own children and women...
Someone here once asked where are the pimps today, well they are now pimping young males instead of chicks..

It's simple math. Job with good pay, Job skills, fresh start, maybe even a housing subsidy for their current neighborhoods, but no more criminal activity vs. going back to prison for decades.
Yes, some niggas are still gonna think it's a game and continue doing crime. But a lot of those cats who got felonies early on in life (age 18,19,20), they gonna make the right decision simply for their best interest at heart.

You are 100 with that Bruh, because even as black leaders our whole blueprint to fight racism needs to be updated to meet today's challenges.
For example, back in the days it was a numbers games, I remember my father and his generation who was a very active in the civil rights used to preach numbers and how we will gain political power and strength once the people of color outnumber the whites..
Even today it a bullet point of interest in most black leaders agenda.. This is why many pro blacks, even those on BGOL, cringe when I talk about things like birth license, mainly due to their fear of losing numbers to the whites..
But what they fail to understand numbers doesn't always translate to power, especially when the number are being born to single parent families that is leading to high rates of criminal activity, incarceration and early death.
What I am proposing is a shift towards increasing quality, so instead of promoting failure we should reward success, meaning young black couples should be given tax breaks, home loans and other perks to help them get off their feet while the single parents who are having children they cannot afford or properly care for should not be rewarded.
Once we get back strong black families, we will develop strong black communities that will eventually lead to a strong black nation..
On the contrary, if black families become dependent on the goverment for food and shelter, we will always be dependent on the white man, and as long as that happens we will never be independent as a people..

When you say they, who are you referring to? But the brother I am talking about was beginning to be successful in getting gang members to do certain things. They had opened up some kind of true light center and they took in donations and gave away free sacks of groceries to the black community. Then he had his right hand man run for alderman and he won. While preparing him for his next career move he took his followers down town to register them to vote. And that was when they moved in quickly to get him and his influence off of the streets.
Usually when people feel they have a stake in something they try to protect it instead of destroy it. With those young gang members accomplishing things they only saw whites with totally different life styles them accomplishing. They did not even think about those things at first. In fact it was like they was about to start showing the whites we run this and we do it better.
I myself know that we will never get anywhere without total separation from whites. But I admired what this dude was doing because he was into what those black youths were into. They were the kind that was not into black leadership in certain directions at first.

Me myself I do not expect much changes in what I am doing until it gets to a certain point. It is impossible for me to protect blacks from the devil if I cannot protect myself from these white devils. We had a black mayor that stood up for the citizens of Birmingham and they publicly lynched him in front of everybody. They do not want to see another Mayor like Mayor Barry ever again. The second time he made mayor he had changed his life and became a black activist. There were quite a few blacks that became millionaires because of him. Blacks that had no idea that could have what they have now but he did it by contracts. He would ask you if you had such and such business and if you said no he would tell you go and start the business and I got a contract here for you. The people that he gave the contracts did the job and there was nothing wrong about what he did. But the whites do the same for whites that are into white supremacy and they do not do the job correctly and some even misuse the job.
Harold Washington the first black mayor of Chicago is another. They do not ever want to see another black mayor like him. Some beleive that he did not really die of natural causes they believe they quietly got rid of him like they did Elijah Muhammad.
