And if he hurts anyone else? I wanna hear the excuses people gonna make then.
Ain’t no excuses made for him, he’s a piece of shit.

If they want to give him real time, then they need to convict him for more than picking up his phone and calling 1-800-DIAL-ADIK :roflmao:

at least they had a class. And were ALWAYS treated better than us. And still are.
true
but fyi

At least 50 Italians were lynched in the United States between 1880 and 1921, with most of the anti-Italian violence occurring in the American South. The most prominent incident was the 1891 New Orleans mass lynching, the largest in U.S. history.

The 1891 New Orleans mass lynching
Following the assassination of Police Chief David Hennessy in October 1890, a climate of anti-Italian sentiment led to the arrests of hundreds of Italian Americans.
  • The crime: After Hennessy was shot, the mayor and press quickly blamed "Sicilian gangsters," associating Italians with criminality and the Mafia.
  • The trial: Nineteen men were indicted and nine were tried. The trial ended with several acquittals and mistrials due to weak evidence, but the results angered the public.
  • The mob: On March 14, 1891, a mob incited by city leaders stormed the parish prison, dragging out and brutally murdering 11 Italian Americans, including men who had been acquitted.
  • The aftermath: No one was ever charged for the lynching, and newspaper headlines applauded the vigilante action. The incident caused a diplomatic crisis with Italy, which prompted the U.S. to pay reparations to the victims' families.

Other notable lynchings
  • Tallulah, Louisiana (1899): Five Italians were lynched after a dispute with a local doctor, who had complained about Italian fruit peddlers.
  • Tampa, Florida (1910): Two Italian men, Castenego Ficarrotta and Angelo Albano, were lynched. One of the men was an Italian citizen, and the incident generated a protest from the Italian embassy.
  • Walsenburg, Colorado (1895): Five Italians were lynched by vigilantes after being accused of murdering a saloon keeper.
The context of Italian lynchings
  • Racial prejudice: Many Americans at the time, particularly in the South, held deep-seated prejudice against Italians, viewing them as racially inferior and un-American.
  • Immigration: Italians, especially those from Sicily and Southern Italy, faced significant discrimination and xenophobia after arriving in the U.S. in large numbers from the 1880s to the 1920s.
  • Labor concerns: Some lynchings in the South were driven by resentment over Italians taking agricultural jobs that were previously held by formerly enslaved African Americans.
  • International pressure: The lynching of Italians, unlike the more frequent lynchings of Black Americans, sometimes prompted an international response because Italian victims were often protected by diplomatic treaties. Italy's outrage over the New Orleans case prompted President Benjamin Harrison to declare the first national Columbus Day as a gesture of reconciliation.

As tragic as all this is for all involved I'm very impressed with this young lady come up

I hope she is able to maintain this level of professionalism grace and journalistic integrity as well as her wild young energy.

Agreed.

This was an excellent break down of what transpired in court which is impressive considering she doesn't have a crew with her, producers coaching her in her ear and has to deliver this in Manhattan with all of these distractions.

This they king?

@OutlawR.O.C.

:smh:

Fucking insane.

If he gets out immediately he's going to be right back to his old shit immediately and maybe worse.

R. Kelly became 10x more brazen and abused even more young girls after not being sent to jail in the 2008 case.

And he never had the power or resources that Puff still has.

No doubt.

It's clear that she has the potential to be an a genuine journalist as opposed to these people who just get on camera and run their mouths which is refreshing and unfortunately rare these days.

She had to remember and relay hours if court proceedings on the fly out in public with no assistance. Like I said that shows real talent and potential.

Charlemagne was smart to sign her to a deal and develop her.
