Yeah, I understand it as well about them him not being charged for the actual crimes in court but no matter what he should be serving time for the charges he was given. Besides he's still gonna get a short sentence regardless.
Some of his supporters feel he should be free since most of the charges were thrown out but fail to realize he still has charges that he'll have to serve time for.

1-3 years seems reasonable to me. For one thing he was convicted of 2 counts. Each count carries a maximum of 10 years. So right of the bat that seems crazy because that would mean they want consecutive sentences instead of them being concurrent.

Aside from what he as actually charged with plenty of other shit came out during this trial that he wasn't charged with would have resulted in football numbers for anyone else including: extorting Cassie’s parents and making them send 10gs under the threat of him releasing a sex tape, bombing Kid Cudi's car and breaking into his house, multiple instances of witness intimidation/bribery and other assaults including beating women which he's been accused of since the 90s.
Let's not forget that he threw Shyne to the wolves resulting in him being the only one convicted, doing 10 years and then being deported when he was released. People don't do a solid 10 years on New York State for what Shyne was charged with. Not even during the Giuliani/Pataki years.
They made Shyne eat all of that time since they couldn't get Puff or Wolf after Puff started getting to witnesses.
Those are just a few of many examples.
Maybe these charges and case are bullshit but that doesn't mean Puff doesn't deserve to do time.
If it makes so much of a difference then why isn't puff a free man with all that money?

In the end that's all this case ended up being.
So again, although Puff's a piece of shit and deserves to be in prison for the harm that he's caused and the things that he's done in the past.
A case that convicted him of hiring male prostitutes isn't the case that should bring justice for all of his past sins.
Meaning the man shouldn't get 10+ years in prison for what he was convicted of.
That's just me being realistic and honest, and I don't govern a shit about Puff.
