Cam Newton is a Tier 3 QB - barely "startable".

They averaged 9 more yards per game in 2015 nigga. Stop. Just take the L and run along.

L from what? You trying to tell me Aaron Rodgers doesn't make receivers better? And the example you're using is Jordy Nelson going down yet Aaron Rodgers still makes the Pro Bowl going 30td 8ints

:roflmao: you dudes

So what is Cam now based on current production "NOW"? Go ahead and spit it out. And what are Philip and Eli?

Whatever you classify one, you're putting them all in the same class this season and there is no dispute that both Eli and Rivers have better weapons. Eli had a mediocre season despite having one of the best WR corps in the league and Rivers lead the league in turnovers and literally lost games solely in his arm in the 4th. They all played like ass. Eli just happens to have the best defense of the 3 (and that's why he's in the playoffs).

You fucking idiot. That's not your argument. There is a major distinction between "Rodgers makes Jordy better' and "Rodgers made Jordy" when talking about his position as a WR1. You can't even help yourself you fucking momo.

Any good QB helps out his WRs ...it's redundant and unnecessary to even say the former (which wasn't your initial argument anyway).

Cant bring yourself to say it huh? :roflmao:

Cam was a clear 3

E militants and football got to love it

Cam this year what tier?

Do some critical thinking. How can 3 be true (according to his tier structure) when in 2015 (when the guy says he's a tier 1 or 2) their starting RB only had 300 more rushing yards than the QB. Do a correlation between the tiers and classification of Cam and see if the tier structure even makes sense for Cam's situation. Don't even reply. Just sit your ass down and think it over if you're even capable of it. Cam has never had a run-heavy game (as in RBs putting up the yardage like in Dallas) + good defense simultaneously. He's had a top defense. You don't have top running game when your RB only has 300 more rushing yards than your QB in your best year (2015). So Cam has already illustrated that tier 3 doesn't even apply to him. He's already won with a weak running game. So what are you left with his shitty classification system that's flawed in the 1st place: Tier 2. This year he was a tier 2 w/ his his biggest struggle being inconsistency (whether injured, bad OL, etc..doesn't matter..he struggled). And this guy's argument is not that he was a tier 3 this season. His argument is that he's a tier 3 going forward.

And he has another qualifier

"Take away his running, without a major improvement in completion percentage, and he's Tier 3"

This is a consistently biased argument. It's one being used against Tyrod now to discredit him.

To waste on players other teams don't want.......Panthers just gotta draft better. That's just what it comes down too. There's no quick easy fix for this shit.

This is what it all comes down to. They're not going to spend their way to a solution. They've been neglected the LT position for years. When your running game struggles, your QB consistently ranks at the top for QB hits, and your offense depends on deep plays (Cam consistently ranked high for yardage per pass), you absolutely must have a good OL if you're going to have a consistent offense (especially with the type of offense and receivers they have). If you're going to neglect the OL, you better get RBs that can catch out of the backfield and receivers that are great route runners, because you'll need to develop an offense that's all about getting the ball out quickly.

The biggest issue I saw this year besides Cam obviously being off (probably both the OL regressing and being injured) was the WRs really struggling to get open. Funchess and Benjamin doesn't really beat DBs off the line. Funchess can run routes for a young WR but he doesn't really have the explosion to consistently beat DBs. Benjamin just struggles running routes and pretty much depends on his size. Now you have a guy who can burn people (Ginn) but he can't run routes and drops the ball too much.

Cam does not to work on his mechanics. He throws off his back foot too much...he gets away with it on the deep pass because he has a strong arm but on the shorter stuff, it causes him to spray the ball over his receivers.

I agree. Not only that but they need a new offense. That shit was fluke last year. Cam's season wasn't fluke the team's success was. You can't run a offense where you essentially use Cam as your running back and your quarterback and then rely heavily on the tight end. I've never seen a team so adamant on getting their QB killed. When most teams in this league do their best to keep their QB clean they do their best to get his head knocked off.

Talking heads are always trying to rank qbs. There's only a handful of consistently great quarterbacks in my opinion. And that's not even guaranteed week-to-week. It's a never ending conversation because things can change so quickly in the league.

Cam seemed to have it figured out last season, I really don't know what happened this season.:dunno: But he has the potential to be a serious weapon for CAR going forward.

Just typed a whole bunch of excuses and deflecting bullshit.

Again what Tier was Cam this year?

Like I was telling that dumb ass above, Cam was their QB and their RB. You can't run an offense with your QB having 300 fewer yards than your top RB. They run him way too much... Like straight up designed runs between the tackles :smh:

If they don't draft at least two OLs with their first 4 picks, they still haven't figured it out.

You're so fucking stupid. It's right there in the response dumb ass nigga. I wrote it twice. Unlike you, I can exactly explain my position before I gave it.

If we can get Cordy Glenn and Ronald Leary in Free agency I'd be very optimistic about the 2017 season. We need Fournette, Dalvin Cook or Cam.Robinson with the 9th overall pick.

I'm still salty we didn't draft La'el Collins that year

And wont spend a dime :smh: watch he get Alshon Jeffery or some shit

I like Alshon a WR2. He suffered because of QB play this year. I don't think he's a true WR1 though. I think he would be horrible for the Panthers though...because he's a big target and has good hands but he can't run routes. That's not the type of WR the Panthers need. The Panthers need a true WR that can run the full route tree.

You're so fucking stupid. It's right there in the response dumb ass nigga.

Just give me a number fuck boy.. straight up none of those bullshit excuses.... Packers had a receiver wearing an eighties number playing running back this year...give me a number dont type a novel

I agree with you now man. You gotta take Fournette or Cook if they are there and then grab a OL in the second round (unless a really good DE is still there).

I think Doug Baldwin would be a better fit than Jeffery. However, I don't think you need a slot receiver unless the offense changes. He can line up outside too. However, of the top WR free agents for 2017, I think Baldwin would be a better fit (although Jeffrey is the more dynamic WR). I don't think the Seahawks let him get away though.

Man we need to holla at Mario Williams bring him back to the Carolinas..I think he got 1 or 2 more years keft

I wish it wasn't a factor in it
Believe me I wish this didn't exist

Maybe throw some of that money at Torren Armstead too. If you're not going to draft a LT, just grab the best available one in free agency. The pieces are there, the team just have to focus on the lines.

We need dudes that can CATCH. Maybe I'm impatient with Funchess but Cam throw the ball hard as fuck. Jeffery with Benjamin and Olson would be deadly
