Cam likes to talk the trash though, but he always goes to the money talk. He not super clever and he is somewhat arrogant. Considering his abilities you know why he carries himself that way. But he doesn't really know how to playful banter. Some people can do that and not sound like they in their feelings. He sounds like he is too often. still not worth it to run up on him.

while anyone can catch a beatdown in the streets, none would test Mike with them hands. It's all about the perception and hype around who's who and a "killa." We have to move past that. Those fools wouldn't jump iron Mike but would resort to shooting because it's at a safe distance.

I think we lose sight of our own bc of their differences. The way Cam dresses probably factors into the he aint built like us. We in these streets, fuck his money. Fucked around and found out.

I think people really underestimate people that are nerds or dress weird that they think are some punks and dudes never can go one on one because they're scared to take an ass whooping. This why you have dudes out there with guns because once they get beat up they want to come back around and kill a person instead of just walking away and dap each other up and move on. But too many let pride get the best of them making rash decisions they later regret.

It was more injuries than anything. That shoulder was never the same and then he went and hurt his ankle. Greg Cosell use to always say that cam was an "arm thrower" he didn't have the best mechanics so once that shoulder went, he was done for the most part...although i think he could still be in the league as a backup but you dont see former MVPs be backups and while he was saying he would....i dont think he would come in knowing he was going to be a backup...he's not wired that way.

TJ and Steph Brown -- coaches for Top Shelf Performance, where Cam used to help out -- shared their side of the scrap on Monday ... and they insist the former Panthers superstar is to blame for the ugly scene.
"It just should never have gotten to that," TJ told Fox News Digital ... adding Cam had been jawing at him throughout the weekend and demanded they place a wager on their game.

The fact that they're trying to say it started because of shit talking is weak as fuck... you can stop all that yapping by going out there and bust their ass (pause) on the field. That would have been the better lesson to teach the kids vs giving in to ignorance and having a nigga moment go viral in a non beneficial way for you.

Now you not only got your ass beat but you also got ragdolled so much that people watching the video thought you were a child :smh:

I've been to a ton of camps when I was coaching. A lot of these kids & adults look at the other dudes at tougher & Cam in a certain way because of how he dresses. But you never simply judge a book by the cover as they quickly found out & he was wasn't even trying to fire back & hurt anyone. Can you imagine if he had started swinging on those dudes or slamming dudes? That dude is still 6'5/6'6 250+ & in shape.

Yeah I've been at camps where everyone was talking shit & it was just that shit talking, you went out there & tried to back it up & not hoe up and try to jump someone.

Eli and Peyton and plenty of other Black athletes carry themselves in such a manner where the kids don't engage them like that.

Shit talking is part of the game. Hell there’s compilation vids of shit talking from the greats in various genre of sports.. the game is won physically and mentally. If you can get into your opponent’s mind and mentally fuck with them it can change how they play and give you the upper hand in battle. Nobody plays the game totally silent and just do plays than hand over the ball to the ref and than do it all over again

I agree 100%, but Cam is on another level financially and professionally.

Cam needs to stay out of that mess.

Shit talking happens and fights happen from shit talking. It is what it is.

I'm just saying for the people that keep bringing Eli and Peyton into the conversation, just realize that they don't act like Cam. MOST athletes with camps don't act like Cam. There needs to be a line w/ these pros.

Cam can be very immature.

In no way am I’m I saying fight cam, but it always becomes an attack on black peoples when these incidents happen.

You don’t see this at manning camp is probably true. You also don’t see Eli and Payton going back and fourth with teenagers.


This a cam thing IMO.

I can't say what does or doesn't happen at Manning's camp, but from watching the video on the camp site kids are talking shit & going at each other in drills, celebrating etc. But I also think it's a demographic thing also in the video it looks like their camp is damn near 90% white.

This. I don't get why all adults can't all see it that shit talking is another way to help kids maintain their composure, handle business, and style on em while getting a W. It's a life fucking lesson to keep your composure, even when Cam Newton talking shit. We all do it on a daily at our jobs not slapping the taste buds off a coworker trynna be slick.

This I agree with you 100% on... some of it I think is unprovoked but then there's other aspects of it where you see him egging it on or being apart of it, and at that point the old saying "you grin you in" comes into play.

Who runs these camps?

and the shit talking should only go but so far when it comes to the camps,once an adult is being targeted by the kids holding cellphones that should be a strike against that team and if they continue disqualify them and kick their disruptive asses off of the property.

No disrespecting coaches,staff or any adult....some of em will get booted cause their not being raised right but the ones who want to play will be coached and play the game.

Cam needs to ignore most of em but he needs to boot em or find someone in charge that has no problems doing so....kids,parent,uncle cousin,it don't matter.Their allowing kids to do to fucking much....fuck them kids,we'll find some new kids
