Besides all the to's over the last two games...im liking a lot of what im seeing over these last two games. Noah, Rose, Butler, Taj, everbody is looking HEALTHY & energetic out there. Good way to start off the playoffs. But we got issues to fix before round 2.

Level 1 strain..sore knee. He wont be 100% for the playoffs....but he'll stil be serviceable.
If he was a starter...then i would worry...but he's coming off the bench. They should rest him until next round. Thats the plan..i think.

Cant post stats/screen shots right now. But the game was a good one. Bulls were down by 18 at one point...but then there was a 25 point swing and the Bucks never looked right from that point forward.
Them young boys got some fight in em tho. Kidd got them playing great defense. Their scrappy style reminds me of how the Bulls used to be when we were a #1 ranked defense.
That Antetokounmpo Kid is nice! Just needs to work on his game some...and gain some weight.
At this point i just want this series to be over.
Round 1 of the playoffs have been wack so far..imho.

At the moment D-Rose is making me eat crow. I thought he was finished. But since the playoffs started hes played well from an athletic and scoring perspective. Those fucking T.O.s, and getting in the air and deciding to pass to a guy 40 ft away are going to cost the squad next round. Milwaukee is playing hard, but they just dont have the talent to win. Thats all thats really saving the Bulls from looking overmatched right now. If I had expectations to make a deep run Id be really worried, but as I see it. The Bulls arent winning a chip, so Ill just watch and see what develops.
Now the fucking Sox are pissing me the fuck off!!! All this goddamn offense and their wasting quality starts by Sale and Samardzija. Even Danks pitched well and they still can put runs on the board.
The fact that the squad from the North side I wont acknowledge are playing well, and have a bright future makes this shit embarrassing.

If this is Rose 2.0 and not just a blip he could very well be the leader the Bulls need. Even though max money for him is a thing of the past.
I dont envy Gar-Pax at the moment though. I dont think hes a superstar, but you have to pay Jimmy. Noahs past his prime, Kirk is finished. Snell is going to get offers, as is Arron. What to do with Doug, and Taj. Man the Bulls are about to turn into the Bears of the 2000s. Not good enough to win, not bad enough to get great draft picks, and in a city that almost makes impossible to go through a fullscale rebuild.

Jimmy had a great game...Rose started coming alive and all that later in the game...but all that doesnt really matter when you lose.

Too many lazy passes and crying over fouls that the refs werent gonna give us.
The Bulls came out the gate acting arrogant and lackadaisical....and thats why we loss. Simple as that!!

Turnovers was killer for the Bulls. Be stronger with the ball and make crisper passes. This series will end Monday. I can't take anything from the Bucks. They don't quit, they have mad heart.
Some lazy turnovers and bad decisions cost us that game. Gotta get that under control.

To me the Bulls play gimmicky basketball, they have Rose a 2 with the skill sets of a 2, playing the one, then Butler has the skill set closer to a 4 than a 2 playing 2, Noah is a 5 playing 4.. Now all this may be good when it comes to crashing the boards and defending in the paint, but it sucks when you need players to create their own shots, and move the ball around and pass.. This why they manhandle certain teams but have problems with others...
If you have the proper size and athleticism there isn't a single Bulls player you'd have to double up on, and as a rule the teams that are forced to double up tend to be at a bigger disadvantage vs teams that doesn't have to..

The difference between the Cavs and teams like the Hawks, Rokckets and the Warriors is that the Cavs are inside then out, meaning they are able to shoot the outside shots after LeBron and Kyrie attack the paint then kick the ball out to the open guy at the perimeter.. Stay at home and defend the three then they will carve you up in the paint.
If you look at the Bulls vs the Bucks the two things the Bulls had problems with was stopping the dribble penetration and being overly aggressive with the collapse in the paint, if the Bucks had any type of outside shooters, this series would be over by now..
Matter of fact both the Bucks and the Cavs play similar the only difference is the Cavs are much better at attacking the hoop, are much better passers and are one of the best in the league at draining the open shot. Plus they have much better speed and a big guy in the middle as tall and lanky as Gasol.
I've lost respect for D.Rose....
Paul George is about to come back after that devastating leg injury. Hell he is coming back earlier than expected, yet D.Rose has a 10 minute surgery and he is almost out 6 to 7 weeks....I gave him a pass on the two knee injuries because they were definitely more serious but this shit here makes no damn sense to me at all. I know dudes who were big time fans of his and they are like me now.
If doesn't play well, then he gonna get ripped by the media and fans this time.
You cannot compare every knee injury with each other... Technically you could be crippled in a wheelchair if your knees are bad enough, would you not respect a person if that was his case?

One of the very few things that pissed me off about the Bulls today was the fact that they blew 15+ point leads more than once. And that couldve been easily avoided if we wouldve trapped the only good thing that the Cavs had going for them (Kyrie).
It was basically Kyrie and LBJ w/ a "splash" of Iman here and there. But overall...the Cavs (with or without JR) dont have the depth to dominate the Bulls. They have enough to battle...but not shut us out. Therefore, we shouldve won by 20, instead of less than 10.
Also.....Mike Dunlevy has been hot as of late. He was the hottest player on the entire floor during the start of the game. And one of the reasons why we jumped out to a huge lead in the 1st. But what happened? He either got benched or ignored on the floor.
Derrick looked great! And thankfully his shoulder injury at the end was only a stinger. Gasol looked great. Jimmy as well. But now shit gets real.
We look great when we have 2+ days rest, but we become inconsistent when we have short rest. We play ever other night in this round. How the Bulls play the next game will be interesting.
I would like to see Nikola or Snell get more mins than Kirk, but it is what it is. As long as we win.
I think we MIGHT lose the next one, I really dont know. But if we do, its cool. We did what we had to do and grabbed one on the road.

Someone, PLEASE tell me why Hinrich gets ANY tick at this point in his career? Ball handling? Moore is buried deep in the bench and can handle that role plus make shots. Defense? KH is too slow and old at this point to be anything but a turnstile. Drives me nuts seeing him on the floor; I was a fan in his prime years with Chitown but now it's just pathetic to watch him.
