Unless his son physically tried to kill him, his behavior is generally considered unacceptable. This is after the whole naming the new son junior instead of the elder. Which was just kind of funny at the time.id even consider a physical altercation as a reason to disown your son who is dying. Doing so over them being entitled to money/lifestyle or picking their mom doesn't make the cut. From what seems to be happening publicly, Brian M doesn't have a good relationship with any of the kids from his pervious relationship, so it's hard to believe he is in the right. At best, he simply stuck to his word.

Somewhat related. When you hear men talk about women poisoning their kids against them, this is the type of shit they leave out of their story. Not saying there aren't men who are victims of bitter exs, but it's a lot more that just weren't good fathers and worse men.
