In the fall or winter of 1984 in Cincinnati, he once gave a concert at Bogarts calling himself Red Hott Jazz or something like that.
They were introduced as a band founded by Prince.
Not too many people showed up.
But the ones who did were treated to a free concert by him.
The people were in complete shock when he comes out on the stage.
My brother was one of the ones who went to the concert.
Couldn't have been no more than a 100 people in there, because Bogarts was kinda small.
This was right about the time Purple Rain was still in the movies.

Grew up listening to my dude from elementary/high school but really didn't "get it" until the college years. Love, life, pain were expressed deeply in Prince's music and the shit just jammed. Any artist dubbed " His Royal Badness" deserves accolades but I don't know man I'm really at a loss for words right now....anyway REST IN POWER Brother Prince Rogers Nelson your genius will be missed.

57 is young. Dude was aging gracefully. Flu for multiple weeks? Working too hard and didnt give his body the rest it needed? Or money hungry Jews pulling another Whitney/MJ on another Legend?
Did he own his masters? Need details on who gets broke off after his death,

I know man, I saw him at the grammys and was like wow.. this nigga looked like he stopped aging in his 40s
Goddam man. 
I have been listening to Prince since his first album.
He wrote, arranged and sang and played every instrument on that album..
It was the true definition of a solo album
