Breaking: Mueller Objects to Barr's Description of Russia Investigation's Findings

Dude... the more I watch Barr.. the more I believe that soon we will have breaking news about another Whistleblower discussing personal conversations between Barr and Trumps team about what Trump wants Barr to say and about how Barr used his authority to shut down the investigation...

There is just something out there... cause dude's shit makes no sense.

Why would you say you don't know Mueller's opinion when dude sent you a letter discussing it...

Even a rookie attorney knows that if another attorney sends you shit in a letter... that means that he expects that at some point.. this communication will be or could be important.

Yeah. It's really odd for someone with this much experience to sloppily handle this.... unless he feels likes it was the only way. It's either a "we have no other choice" or "we'll get away with it regardless so who cares". It's either sloppy work or arrogant work (maybe both)....... or just a situation where obstructing in this way was the only way he thought he could save Trump from Mueller's investigation.

Man Repub Spin tactics are diabolical...

this doesn't even make sense...

"
A spokesperson for Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee issued a statement defending the attorney general.

“Attorney General Barr released the special counsel’s report voluntarily, and with minimal redactions, to answer any questions about the context and substance of the special counsel’s investigation,” the statement said. “Recent media reports give us more reason than ever to have confidence in the attorney general by providing insight into how the attorney general and the special counsel successfully collaborated to navigate a very difficult and historically momentous situation, culminating in the release of the Mueller report, which provides the account of the special counsel’s investigation in the words of Mr. Mueller and his team. As the Senate Judiciary Committee prepares for tomorrow’s hearing, House Democrats have another opportunity to put partisan politics aside and recognize Attorney General Barr has conducted himself in an exemplary manner.”"

Read this. It's very clear to me now that he shut the investigation down. Look at the language. It's the second time he's very narrowly said "at no point did I overrule the Special Counsel on any proposed action."

That's extremely specific. There are lots of ways he could have obstructed or closed the investigation without "overruling the Special Counsel on any proposed action"

Barr's opening statement is pretty remarkable. he's making the argument that the only thing in Mueller's mandate was to find out rather anyone from Trump's campaign specifically coordinated with the IRA hacks into Hillary Clinton's email and/or the leaking of that hacked data.

That's narrow as fuck and that's not what was ever alleged.

He also said that "He disagreed with some of Mueller's legal theories".... what the fuck does that mean? The Dems in the Senate should be asking that immediately.

HOLD THE FRONT DOOR....

Did dude say that he permitted the Office of the White House Counsel and the President's personal counsel to review the redacted report prior to release. !!!

I swear I hate this dude.... "I did not believe that it was in the public interest to release additional portions of the report in piecemeal fashion, leading to public debate over incomplete information"

--- but at the same time... You release a 4 page incomplete summary that did that exact thing.

Barr's summary makes no sense. You make a public opinion on the nature of obstruction... even though you personally stated that you disagreed with Mueller's legal theories and personally felt that some of the episodes examined did not amount to obstruction as a matter of law.. You then say that you accepted the legal framework for muellers analysis.... But how can you reach a conclusion on obstruction.. when you state in your letter that you disagreed with his theories.. So you inserted yourself as an Biased arbitrator ...

Then you end by saying.. that our department's work is at its end.... and that responding and reacting to the report is a matter of the American People and the Political Process... but you inserted yourself into tainting this process by making a decision on a subject in which.... you have a policy not to indict.

LOL... great minds think alike.. that also stood out to me...

He basically just said that I'm not neutral...

How can you say that you fairly looked at the evidence when you disagree as to the theories and that certain episodes didn't amount to obstruction as a matter of law..

The other issue is that even under this narrow framework... You just conceded that some of the episodes did amount to obstruction as a matter of law...

So what were those episodes?

Why wasn't the evidence sufficient?

The bigger question is why did you insert yourself into the narrative when it was unnecessary?

The whole letter is incredible but the last two lines are a slap in the face to everyone because he's mocking a public mockery of the entire process.

When he was asked about whether or not he shared the report did he say no or was that one of the questions he refused to answer?

Today will be just another example of white privilege and two justice systems.

It's not even about if he or his people did anything....

It's about"IT AIN'T SHIT Y'ALL CAN DO ABOUT IT"

Dems have always been about people of color & what's right...

White people have always shown Dems "we don't give a fuck"
