I wasn't a fan of Henry Cavill as Superman either. He was very wooden. Since Christopher Reeves, no one has been able to get both Clark Kent and Superman right at the same time. Henry Cavill met a really good Superman, but a horrible Clark Kent. The other guy, if I remember correctly it was a pretty good Clark Kent but a horrible Superman.

Dude there is a video of the real superman on YouTube talking about going into pre-production on the first movie and the work that he had to put in. And even the phycology behind being superman. You could see in that man's eyes that he was superman. Everything about the man was superman. And that's the fucking problem. They lucked up and got a highly intelligent, wasp, Yale graduate, with theatre acting background (was doing an off Broadway play at the time), tall and willing to work superman. I've always and will continue to say that the dude has talent.... It was on Display in the Tudors and on display in the Man from Uncle movie. And I firmly believe that he is going to shock people as the lead in THE WITCHER.

The problem is that WB didn't know and continues not to know what THE FUCK TO DO with Superman. His movies should be easy... The animated films alone show that there's years of material to be used for Superman. I mean gawd damn... We still have never seen Brainiac or Darksied in a Fucking Live action film... How the hell is that possible???








The real issue is that this move... is a MEGA Fuck you.. to the people that spent money on BVS and Justice League with the hope that we would be getting a pay off...

Why the fuck are we getting a Shazam movie over a Justice League 2... Was it a Billion Dollar hit.. NO.. but it was improved enough to get people semi-excited for a Sequel..

when I watch TV shows and movies, I watch the eyes of the actors, and not just the lead actors, The Supporting Cast. Watch Dorian missick and Mykelti Williamson in Lucky Number Slevin - their eyes almost show them too smart for their roles, but for the street dudes they protray it makes sense that they have processing eyes. You can't get to be old in the game if you got those never-seen-combat eyes.

Mykelti is the man, though. Pity he doesnt get more roles. Loved him in Justified

I did love him in the Man from Uncle, but the but the last time I saw him other than that was when he was a teenager in The Count of Monte Cristo.

I enjoyed Cavill as Superman. He has the look, he's a good actor and comes off as a nice guy in interviews. I look forward to him as Geralt. They gotta just reboot their cinematic universe. So many bad casting and script decisions.
