Here in the Bay I see alot of decent looking Asian women with the nerdiest looking white guys.IMO it has to do with the Asian chicks seeking wealth and the white dudes seeking a decent looking woman.I've dated a few Filipinos,Koreans,and Japanese but all of em were pretty liberal.I've never dated a conservative Chinese chick.

Not sure what your asking. But the article charted how Black Men and Asian Woman seem to be the most likely to date interracial. The theory behind it is Black men at least appear to be the most masculine of men, and Asian woman the most feminine of woman. Woman are naturally attracted to masculine and men are naturally attracted to feminine regardless of race.

There are plenty of Asian women married to black men (myself included).
Before the usual, "ASIAN PEOPLE HATE BLACKS" folks come in with their usual banter (I didn't scroll down, so I might be already too late), this really isn't that weird. Many brothas I talk to tend to not spit game at Asian chicks in general (sticking to white chicks mostly when they dabble in interracial relationships). Asian women are really not very different from any other women (black, white, whatever) when you get down to the core (I'm not talking looks, I'm talking personality).

i just think there's a shitload more of "desirable" white males to "desirable" asian males and rather than go on some quest to find someone from their race they said fukk it and went with whoever was available around them.
the poster who talked about white men being the most desirable because of power/prestige is right too. its almost like, if you can't find a good man from your own race, the logical fallback is a white man. i think the joy luck club movie touched on some of these issues.
like it or not white has been established as the gold standard for damn near everything on the planet, just at hollywood/sports/entertainment when black ppl (BOTH men and women) date/marry interracially disproportionately compared to how they do in the general population, its almost like a "step up"...

In truth, North Korea doesn't have the greatest record on revealing the truth about their situations, so I would really take North Korea's story that the reporters were on their borders with a GRAIN OF SALT. The reporters themselves said they were basically taken from non-North Korean territory. It's up to you to choose who you want to believe in the end of the day.

I feel what you're saying, but they were on a job doing something they believed would end up helping people. The "why even take to risk" approach can be applied to so many things that we'd be a non-progressive world if we all succumbed to that mindset. Also, not to keep hammering home my original point, they weren't (according to them) in North Korea when they were caught. Therefore, they were taken from safe territory at the time and brought over to unfriendly land.
I can attest to this. I've had plenty asian women (Chinese & Korean mainly; most were immigrants) approach and show interest in me (I'm blackish.) So obviously you can't paint people with broad strokes. (I've lived in NYC, San Francisco, and Florida, btw.)
