A few years ago I saw a documentary about the Angela Davis case. Before the trail she was very much pro-black. During the trial she said she was being mistreated by the system not because she was black, but because she was a woman(or something like that). After the trial she only spoke about women's issues.
When dumb motherfuckers say shit like "why would they close schools and open juvenile prisons? Educating people is much cheaper." or "you mean they'd spend who knows how much money just to tarnish the image of a black man?" I ask them "what the fuck is money to the people who print the money?"

I saw nothing but bad reviews before seeing it this morning. I thought it was good. Only about 25 people in the theater, all black people. Wifey was like fuck Nate Parker on some feminist shit, so I went solo. She believes that he stuck his foot in his mouth too much while promoting the movie. I just rebutted in my Dick Gregory voice "It's a game!" and kept it moving.
