remember these tanks r pressurized n hot as hell ....on rovers they not jus over flow ...

its where u add the antifreeze ...so it`s pressurized like ur radiator....weird set up....

Was kinda being funny
but I've read you need to use it on both the inside and outside for it to really work

Where is the crack at? If its in an easily accessible spot try some epoxy putty. Plumbers use it for pipe leaks

Its a 2 part substance. You kneed it like dough, mix it up real good, itll kinda be like a clay like substance. After its thoroughly mixed slap it on the crack. Wait a couple hours for it to set in and harden, once its set itll be hard as concrete (not exactly like concrete but you get what Im saying). Ive used this in the past for the same type of application and its never failed me

plastic welding epoxy works....if its a short term fix... but you HAVE to let it set for at least 12 hours for it to do its job.
what he siad...but its gone to look janky but it will hold for that short time in till the new part is installed.....i use to have extra parts for the rover laying
around in my garage i done work on so many of them i started a fire sale of parts of cars i no longer wont consider working on now...

Local salvage yard bruh...
If not that...follow the Da Don's advice.
I wouldn't take the chance of contaminating my cooling system with a foreign substance.

This above all. If that shit gets into the water galleys you could be looking at a total engine failure.

You never said where you ordered it from but if the dealer doesn't have it in stock there should be other options that take less than 3 days. That's crazy.

Permatex Water Pump and Thermostat sealer.

That should be good to hold and withstand the heat.

A friend of mine fucked up and put Permatex on his valve covers it wasn't the water pump version tho and his shit was sealed tight but when he went to take his valve cover off he had to replace all the gaskets cuz that shit was stuck on tight as fuck. lol

So I know it works.

Well, is the $120 savings worth having your ride down for 3 days? Only you can determine that. And the dealer isn't the only source. And, I'd have to check the provenance of the manufacturer on Amazon; there are lots of cheap knockoff parts on there that will fail. You know the old saying - buy good, buy once. Buy cheap, buy again. But you know your situation better than I do.

One thing I will reiterate, don't put any type of sealant or foreign shit in your cooling system. That shit is for when cars had distributer caps. Now, the blocks are different, the galleys are thinner and the whole cooling system is computerized.

Maybe I'm trying to jinx you cause you keep posting that kim kardassian broad. lol. j/k.

I'm (we're, most of us anyway except those telling you to put shit in your system) are looking out for you bro. Believe me when I tell you I've worked on many a car that got fucked up by taking the cheap route. Not saying you'll have problems but understand all systems are dependant in a car. As they age and you replace parts, the new parts put strain on the old parts. That's where the computer comes in.

Anyway, there are verified OEM parts sites that can ship fast and are below dealer cost.

lol, aint shit gon happen if you use the products presented. niggas is just scary, but do what you feel is best for you
