Post up what you are jammin' or if you are in the market feel free to ask questions.
I'm not gonna go into what I think is best because we all hear different things between our ears, in the end you gotta go with what sounds good to you, these are just some different options out there.

My current cans are the Denon AH-D2000, I was looking for something with some solid bass response and these definitely do the trick, they have slightly recessed mids and great highs, they list for $349 but I picked up a pair for $229 shipped to my door.

Denon has a full line of quality headphones which can be seen in the link I supplied.
The Denon's have a impedance of 25 ohms so they will sound good coming right from your laptop/MP3 player, they are easy to drive but I use a Headphone amp and DAC (Digital to Analog Converter) which really enhances the total sound, I went with the FiiO E7 and E9 combo ($190 shipped), the E7 is a portable Amp/DAC and the E9 is a more powerful full size amp, once docked the E7 becomes a DAC for the E9 which by-passes the soundcard on your computer via the USB and gives you a clean signal for your E9 to amplify. (most laptop soundcards are substandard)
This combo gives you a powerful full size amp for home use and a portable amp/DAC to take on the road.
Note: Any headphones you buy can only give you what you give them so I try to stick with lossless music files. (WAV,FLAC,etc.) and I use the Foobar2000 audio player.
