Those other builds have too much unneeded shit that slow boxes down. TVADDONS ConfigWizard build is all one needs.
Never had slowdown with my box... but some low end boxes i can see what your saying

Low or high end. I have an Nvidia Shield TV and The Beast was sluggish on it.
spinz tv. its on ares. i've used that build on several boxes and so far no complaints. i tried pulse, apollo and beast for my mom and she ended up liking spinz the most.

I've had PULSE since i put Kodi on my Firestick when i first got it about a month ago and it has worked perfectly

what kind of box did you get? i got my mom the beelink x2 and my sister a leelbox mxq pro. both are good cheap boxes. my friend's brother wanna get in on this. i told him what to expect on those android boxes depending on what he wanna spend. when i mention the shield everybody frowns up when i mention the price. they dont care about the gaming aspect, they just interested in kodi lol

Yeah.. this thread has potential but everybody is talking over each other instead of simply dropping facts. Im trying to get a handle on kodi but its way too many builds to get your head around initially and I was hoping some of your bgol fam could drop straight knowledge without the bullshit.
try any of the builds mentioned and you'll be alright. it all comes down to preference. everybody wont agree on who's the best. but of all the ones mentioned you cant really go wrong with whichever you settle on.

nice. i like the specs for the price. especially the gigabit ethernet port.
It had to be someone from a Microsoft background to come up with a concept as stupid as a build i.e. installing a bunch of unnecessary shit that you'll never use.

you're right. you make a great point but for people who dont know or care to know what they're doing a build is the best thing for them. i know i hate when people call me damn near every week asking me all kinda questions. a build helps simplify it.
Try the Hasham wizard and build.
Well, frankly they're stupid. If my father, who's probably the most computer illiterate person on the planet, and an elder gentleman I know, that's 87 years old I might add, have no problems, I don't know what to say about the people you're associated with.

Exactly.. loading one of those builds took up over 2GB on my device. I just load individual add-on now
There's so many builds out that u probably won't get a consensus or someone who's tried alot of them. Its all gonna be personal experience since builds can perform better on some devices compared to others
I just start with pure Kodi and install Exodus, 1Channel, channelPear, ESPN3, Phoenix, SportsDevil and IceFilms
