Best VPN.

Damn, it's been a while since the last time I was on this thread.

Let me see if I can find the person who had a list of VPN's that were for lifetime or free.
Try epic browser which is free.

I've used NORD for years and never had a problem. It's especially useful for any streaming content that's banned in the USA. For me that's a lot of auto racing.
Can't speak for other products but I can choose a server location anywhere on the planet.

As far as sites detecting it and saying disable it, well, those are sites I want to avoid because unless it's my bank or something, guaranteed they want to put trackers in your machine. That's why they want you to disable. Trackers at the very least. Could be keystrokers too.

I dont use a VPN all day long, meaning running constantly.

But when I need to do certain things, from my cell, I use VPNify on an android. I have a hacked version from LiteAPKs and primarily use that for torrents.
I also have AdGuard from the same site for mobile and that blocks many ads coming to your phone apps. That I generally have running all the time, they also have an AdGuardVPN but I've never tried it.

For the desktop, I use MegaVPN, I do pay $12.99 for the year but cant use it to download torrents. You will get a warning from them, i did. I use it for just browsing and Zoom calls when i need to change my location.

I also have ProtonVPN but in the past it was kind of hard to get an address or access. Haven't used it in over a year but have it on my desktop as a backup.

VPNs do not prevent you from being tracked. They prevent cookies...not log files. Wish people would let go of this lie.

I think most people think of tracking as ISPs detecting pirated material. And VPNs do "block" that.

Some VPNs contain additional software that renders such files neutral or disallows harmful one - ones flagged.

I think we can all agree the crooks are always ahead of the cops so *to me* a VPN is essential.

So what does block your IP address. Asking because I went to a porn site the other day to see something and because I'm in Texas it was making me register for an account and that irritated me.

Using a free vpn is not a good idea. VPN is definitely something to pay for from a reputable company. If it's free, you're the product.

Depends on what you're doing. If you're running torrents or if you're just looking at pornhub or something with the restrictions in a bunch of states

A VPN in my experience. Nord allows a choice of server locations so I can change to ATL; LA; Montreal; Aruba; London; etc.
If you chose a server in Cali for instance you should have no problem. If you do just chose another state.
I know for d/l shit that wants you to wait an hour between d/ls I just refresh my server and it gives me a completely different IP
