helped me understand global economics and how it REALLY relates to the Africans worldwide, and why it is so necessary that we remember what binds us, versus these fake borders we live under

I only just found out he graduated from University of Cambridge in London UK
More than brilliant for someone whose 1st language isn't English! I watched the movie the experience of the book is pretty memorable 
This book changed my life when I was about 18 or 19. It made me realize that I wasn't alone in the thoughts I had about coming up in hood and the conflict of wanting to leave that I couldn't share with crew I ran with back then. It opened my mind that I could get out and wasn't captive to my then current life circumstances.
