To me this episode seemed to be all about deception, running games and manipulation. Its obvious that Daughter knows that Narcisse killed her mother. I am not sure if Narcisse knows that she knows yet.

Yes they BOTH know. That's the BIG, mysterious history about their relationship.

Remember while in bed, she confessed to Chalky: "My mother was a prostitute... back in the day when prostitutes had kept a jar of Lye (or acid) within reach, just in case things ever got too rough" (or something like that) Then she continues her story, admitting that after her mother was killed, a strange man found her hiding in the closet.

That man was Dr. Narcisse.
(He quote: "Spread his wings over me, ever since")

Later in the episode, downstairs in the Onyx Club dressing room... Narcisse admits to killing her mother saying: "I set her free with these hands... but she wounded me for life." (or something like that)

The SCARS on his chest is the evidence of the Lye her mother poured on him, as she struggled for her life.

She seems to be feeding Nacrisse false information about Chalky.

Maybe because she is falling in love with Chalky.

Remember, she nonchalantly told Chalky she wants to stay at the Onyx club for at least ANOTHER YEAR. (Not just 1 extra month )

And she also knows that Narcisse wants to move in on his territory.

By planting that divisive seed in Dr. Narcisse's mind, she knows how to motivate him to make 'long-term' plans of setting-up shop in Atlantic City, which is what she wants. But she cannot tell him that outright, or he will realize that she is playing him.

Narcisse is fully in the midst of his long con on Chalky and trying to get what he has. Agreed

Given that Rothstein was incognito (As the Black Sox guy, wouldn't he be recognizable?), I assumed that the $150,000 investment might be fictitious and he was really just scoping out the latest Ponzi schemes in his neighborhood, to see where he needs to push and who needs to give him a cut in business.

However, if I'm correct, the "Anaconda Realty" venture might be connected to all the real estate being pumped into Tampa, that's been bothering Nucky. So Rothstein might be making moves to control this scheme either for his and Nucky's benefit, or in another move to bump out Nucky's business interests. Or maybe as a favor to Meyer. Since he asked about it, the $100-bill thing might have been a test to see if he wanted to do business with Margaret's boss (whether he would give it to her, or pocket the cash and claim he gave it to her).

Agreed. Rothstein is setting himself up to be the Florida version of "Tabor Heights", in my opinion.

Here's why...

Last season, Gyp Rosetti took over the town with 'the last gas station in Jersey' - Tabor Heights. Which meant that ALL the liquor shipments & vehicles HAD to stop there on their way into Atlantic City..... TO GET GAS. (If not, they had to travel around the coast by SEA, which is unreasonable, unpredictable & HIGHLY expensive.)

Remember early last season.... there was an episode with a drunken ship captain who lost LOTS of booze cargo because of the unpredictable WEATHER out in the Atlantic Ocean? (That's why they show all those bottles that wash ashore on the beach at Nucky's feet, during the opening credits of the show )

In that episode, Gyp Rosetti realized it was better to control the town where EVERY bootlegger needs to REFUEL, which put him in a crazy position of POWER.

I think Rothstein is trying to do the EXACT same thing.

He bought that land in Florida, but they did not say exactly WHERE the land is located yet. Ya dig?

So, I think Nucky and alla rest of his partners: including Meyer Lansky, Lucky Luciano, Joe Masseria, and that 'new Italian guy' in Cuba.... will find out the HARD WAY... before the end of the season.

My guess... that slick fucker Rothstein probably bought the HARBOR LAND... where ALL them cargo ships arriving from Cuba will NEED to dock and offload onto trucks, or some shit.

Control the ports. Control everything. Just saying.
