yeah i had to wait 3 minutes to get into the site to get mine.Holy shit I just went back to the site I got my tickets from it says there is a 21 minute wait time TO BUY TICKETS ONLINE !!!
not sure if everyone uses the same....but i use Fandago.
i was able to get some pretty good seats at the very top on the end.

Looking to score tickets to the hotly anticipated "Avengers: Endgame"? Get in line.
Just as presale ticket sales for the next Marvel Studios film went online Tuesday morning, sales just as quickly seemed to have gone offline. The rush of activity took down the AMC Theatres site and app, left fans with over hour-long waits at ticketing site Fandango, and also caused issues with the Regal Cinemas and Atom Tickets apps.
Fandango was still showing wait times of over an hour to purchase tickets as of 10:30 a.m. ET Tuesday, while the AMC website and app continued to have issues. Atom Tickets were loading, but the site was still alerting to errors when trying to purchase tickets.
In a tweet, AMC acknowledged the issues, promising that it was working on a fix and telling fans to "keep trying."

Fandango finally got be thru the que after 5 hours. Got my Thursday tickets in Dolby for the 8pm showing Thursday and was still able to use my stubs account. AMC app is still down. There were still plenty of good seats cause most haven't been able to get tickets

if theaters add more screenings. when i first logged on theaters were immediately sold out which told me that this particular chain already sold those seats.
i found opening night tickets for some less than optimal seats.
then i exchanged them when another screen was released by the theater. they are slow dripping screenings. so buy now or check back. but i would buy now if you want to see it thursday before the spoiling starts.
i think that depends on the theater.
literally three whole screening were sold out at 9:35 in my area at one of the two "good" theaters. and the imax was all sold out.
i can wait for imax. i just wanted a good seat at one of the theaters with good sound and good seats. i got lucky and got the seats i wanted before the screening sold out. and another one sold out right after that.

Its like 8 major theaters within a 10 miles radius where i live at. 4 if them are AMC that have imax or dolby showings, the app was down but fandango finally pushed me thru and there were open seats because of this ticket fiasco. Fandango is totally open now with no waits. Amc app is still crashed lol

i actually went on Fandago around 9am.....my wait was 3 mins.
i guess i was able to get in and purchase before the snap. and i was able to select the seats i was hoping for at the very top on the very end.
the only seats left for the 7:10pm showing that i selected were up front directly in front of the screen.....lol

Had no problem copping for my local spot.
I haven't yet. I usually go to the AMC on Atlantic Springs Rd in Raleigh cuz they never sell out but I might have to buy my tickets in advance this time around
