Arrow on CW

Noooo

Don’t sully my boys legacy by having him appear this season ...

Nooooooooooo

Noooooooooooo

Take him off ... he deserves better. I know this isn’t real... but nooooo

Close your eyes @playahaitian ....

This episode was a roller-coaster for long time viewers.

Because the entire time instead of fully enjoying it we were dreading the continuation of the bullsh*t

And then the high of a wonderful episode

And the dread of next week

Sidebar...

Supernatural was outstanding last night

Charlie>>>>>>>

OK real talk...

If the final episode showed Oliver trapped in a cell high on vertigo

Prometheus alive

The WORLD thinks Oliver is DEAD.

EVERYTHING we have seen this season is a dream...

There is no son, VIGILANTE is alive, etc...

What would your reaction be?

Oh we understand...

This season was so horrible

I think only a hallucination could explain it.
it's the only thing that can save it

but they should have let us in on the joke little earlier, just a hint would have helped... because all we had that this shit sucks

a little context would have made for an awesome season

We have missed your commentary!

I was going to comment this morning after seeing it,I said fuck it..

This whole idea that a known drug dealer can chill in a police station without anyone having suspicion is totally bullshit.. And,the whole Oliver got vertigo was dumb ass hell.

‘Arrow’: Beth Schwartz Named New Showrunner, Wendy Mericle Exits, Marc Guggenheim To Be Consultant On 2 Shows
beth-schwartz.jpg

On the heels of the CW giving an early renewal to all five series of the DC/Berlanti Prods. universe, the oldest one which launched the universe, Arrow, is undergoing a leadership change, with co-executive producer Beth Schwartz promoted to executive producer and sole showrunner for the upcoming seventh season.

Current Arrow executive producer/co-showrunner Wendy Mericle is departing at the end of the current Season 6. Marc Guggenheim is taking a back seat on the two series he co-created and has been executive producing/co-showrunning, Arrow (alongside Mericle) and Legends of Tomorrow (alongside Phil Klemmer). He is transitioning to an executive consultant role on both shows. Current Legends co-showrunner Klemmer will become the sole showrunner in the upcoming fourth season.

Greg Berlanti, who oversees all DC series as executive producer, including Arrow, first met Schwartz when he hired her as his assistant on his 2002 WB drama series Everwood. She co-wrote two episodes of the Berlanti-produced ABC series Brothers & Sisters before joining Arrow in 2012 as a writers assistant in Season 1. Schwartz was quickly promoted to a writer and rose to the ranks to co-executive producer in Season 6– and now executive producer and showrunner for Season 7.

“We are all so incredibly thrilled to announce Beth Schwartz as the new showrunner of Arrow,” Berlanti said. “She has been a source of some of the show’s most exciting and memorable moments from the beginning. Beth is a true leader and a captivating storyteller, and we all can’t wait for the audience to see what she and her team dream up as they take Arrow into its next big chapter.”

Guggenheim co-created Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow with Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg. Berlanti Prods. and Warner Bros. TV tweaked the leadership of two other DC series, co-created/co-showrun by Kreisberg, The Flash and Supergirl, earlier this season when he was fired over sexual harassment allegations. Berlanti stepped in for him, assuming additional responsibilities on both The Flash, where he worked closely with executive producer/co-showrunner Todd Helbing, and Supergirl, where he partnered with executive producers/co-showrunners Robert Rovner and Jessica Queller. Helbing will continue as showrunner on The Flash and Rovner and Queller as showrunners onf Supergirl. Salim Akil is the showrunner of freshman Black Lightning, renewed for Season 2.

Mericle has been on Arrow since after the pilot and a co-showrunner since Season 4.

I was just coming in to post this... I guess they have been listening to the complaints...

So here is my problem with Diaz... no matter what happens in this episode. No matter how they set this up to try and make him Oliviers most dangerous Villian...

No matter what they say... the only Fucking reason he is even breathing is based upon the happenstance that Oliver’s kid randomly walked into the showdown between Oliver and Cadon James which convinced him to stop the detention.... unless they magically mcguffin the Shit out of that shit... I’m still calling horseshit. Now matter how much they try to use this episode to say that Diaz has been in the background the entire series of Arrow...

Gawd damn it stop bitching about Renee...

1. Oliver told dude to stand down

2. He was Fucking shooting at Lance.

How about Dinah apologize for hitting lance upside the head with a gawd damn pole.

Man gawd damn :hmm:

I knew Guggenheim had to be OUT with the #meto stuff

but I am genuinely surprised that they went with a woman showrunner (who apparently fans don't like)

but we GOTTA give her chance as long as she wasn't directly responsible for this SHIT season.

and KEPT him on staff (his contract must be IRON CLAD)

Let me put these kids to bed so I can join in on this sh*t!

@fonzerrillii

WTF?!?!?

My DVR says it isn't taping Arrow till SUNDAY??????

but I can watch on the app????

I GOTTA cut this cord.

Man the fight scenes are on point but this episode brings up an issue that I’ve had with the series since season 1... why does the show refuse to do more episodes that just highlight the Villian... like do you have to have the main cast in every episode.

Arrow corrected this issue in Season 1 with all
Of the people that weren’t part of the core team arrow.. so you got little bits from oliviers mother and new husband.

It pisses me off that he is so gawd damn good as the Dragon because it’s just wasted. He couldnt have been introduced last season with Cadon James.. like why couldn’t they do both of them.

Like put him in just one episode... in season 5...

This episode's tone and pace, style are COMPLETELY different then the entire season so far.

Which is great but

That isn't 's good thing.

You should have been doing this the whole time.

And honestly I would have watched a 4 episode mini series of his story

During the break.
