NothingWhat are y'all doing to reduce/eliminate hard water crystallization build-up around the tank and pumps?
I don't know of anything that really works. If you have hard water, you're just going to have mineral scale. But, let us know if you find a solution. What are y'all doing to reduce/eliminate hard water crystallization build-up around the tank and pumps?

Aquariums I found are like swimming pools - the two best days are the day you get them and the day you get rid of them.
I just can't do all that cleaning and once windows came out with that aquarium screen saver...
But I applaud all you guys that are into it. They can be absolutely mesmerizing.
Get the right filtration, dont overfeed, then cleaning is minimal.
I have a fluval fx6 on my 75 gallon tank, the filter is rated for a 400 gallon tank. I also skip a day or two in between feeding to keep the nitrates down. Get yourself a 50” syphon. Dirty water out in 10 mins, clean water back in 10 mins. I do that once a month.
On my 45 gallon i have a fluval 100 gallon filter. Same process
