Are you holding them or closing? I got DAL, SAVE, AAL, SWA today also. Also picked up AZN call monday.
I've started closing them. I will watch what they do for the rest of the day as well as AH and PM. If the trend continues, I will jump back in during the morning.

I just wanted to secure my profits for today.

What tipped you to pick up BOXL?
remember what i told u about BOXL a few days ago? look at it now.
a nigga eating good off that investment. and i bought in last week when it was around $0.90
now its over $4.......and testing $5.
made $3200 and only spent $720. had i bought 2,000 shares,...i'd have made $8,880.
this is the easiest fuckin money to make man.......wish i had been doin this shit 5 or 10 years ago.

After jumping through hoops and going back and forth with customer service yesterday, I've finally been able to set up extended hours and options trading with my eTrade account. Baby steps... Paper trading next...
I sent in my options application yesterday. Paper trading now, learning vertical spreads which fits with my general support and resistance strategy. Think Or Swim is great with the onDemand function you can see how your trade would perform throughout the contract period.

Pick one out of the money. I am going with $205 because it will hit that tomorrow
Damn go big or go home huh! The price i saw was $8.84 so almost a G per call but I think I understand your approach. Almost free money to you since you feel its highly unlikely for price to move against you or be below $213 over the next 30 days and with a quick spike back up over the next few days to even just today's open you'd be up a quick $400 plus per contract just by playing the correction. Is that right?

This is exactly what it is. There are some days where I don't do anything, because it is too much of a gamble. But, companies like Microsoft, Netflix, Tesla, Apple, etc. When they dip or have a bad day, you have to jump on it asap. The probability of rebound is high. Many of the top traders only trade based upon probabilities. They have metrics and indicators set up that let them know what the probability of a stock hitting a certain price within a certain time period. Its like shooting fish in a barrel.

Once I got put on to this strategy, my losses decreased significantly.

One more thing to consider, the $205 call does cost more because its slightly out of the money. But other call options with strike prices at $230 and $240 are great opportunities as well. Buy a $230 contract first thing in the morning for about $200 total or a $240 for about $100. Watch for the rally to happen within the next couple of trading days. On that day, sell as soon as the rally starts to dip.

if u havent jumped in HMHC yet, it will be a great swing.....should perform like BOXL did, if not better.
Damn you was on the money. I was sitting around trying to get in playing around adjusting my limit order and shit just took off without me. Already went up over a buck a share in AH :hmm:. Shit happens but can't be chasing stocks. Rather miss the boat then get caught holding the bag.

HMHC should continue in the PM on tomorrow as well. dont get your hopes down. I plan on swinging this one til it loses support.

Glad to hear it brother. So tomorrow morning, I want you to jump off of the porch.

Make the play I outlined and be ready to sell after you have made some money. This is going to help build your confidence.

Oh, I meant to say good looking out on the HMHC suggestion. Bought 100 $2.5 call options during the slight afternoon dip. I'm holding it over night. I was $275.00 in the green at 4pm. I just looked at it and its at $3.46. I plan to sell before close tomorrow.

Damn closed at 2.35 and is up to $3.28 in AH, should I wait til opening to buy in? Mfkrs are going ham in comments saying $4+ tomorrow maybe even $5.....

I'm not too familiar with habits between AH and opening? Is there a dip or can they shoot off right out of the gate?

Its a toss up. I've seen PM stocks sell off quickly within the first mins of open. Other times I've seen them continue to move up. I tend to watch a few candles to see whats happening before I jump.

I second this. One scenario is If PM is crazy, then right at opening it will be crazy with all of the FOMO traders. Then, you will see a selloff shortly thereafter. It willcreep back once things settle.

Another could be that it keeps rallying through the day and close to closing bell, the selloff begins.

Since I already have call $2.5 options, My play will be to watch for any dip that is greater than 10% of the high. For example, if the high hits $4.00, I will ride until I start to see the dip hit at or before $3.60. Which is $4.00 - $3.60.

If it hits $5.00, I am out at $5.00 without thinking twice.

Why not set a trailing stop order?

Do this now!!!!

Purchase a $MSFT call option with an Expiration date of at least Aug 14th. Be ready to sell sometime tomorrow, maybe Monday.
Cutting my teeth with Options on this one... In for a Penny in for a Pound!

Got in at $205 break- even is at $213.... LET'S GO!!!

All Help is appreciated!

I started buying stocks last year, invested like $900, I was losing money up until recently. I was about to give up but it's finally paying off. I've still have a lot to learn, I just wish I started doing this years ago. I bought some gold stock last year that was real cheap, like around $1.50 or somewhere around there, maybe less. It's up to like $5 a share now. I read somewhere you should take some money you are willing to lose and buy some stocks and sit on them.
