Anyone investing heavily this year??

How much money did you lose/gain this past week?

I reset today, IHRT rebounded all the way back and I got out to jump on the NIO dip. Missed the highs on MU and BIMI since I got a late start this AM. Currently holding NIO, MU, NOK and BIMI. Hoping Masked Trump will cause a spike in BIMI this week.

I picked up a few more shares of SPCE simply because I like the company. I also took a position on MNK hoping they get a pop this week.

I mentioned last week Telehealth. TDOC hitting highs and MRNA was at 58 then. Hopefully some of you played it.

Huge selloff today. Be patient and be ready to be bullish.

My play: I will be grabbing a few options contracts that expire towards the end of August. I will be looking for strike prices that the stock has already hit recently but has dip under due to the selloffs. I will close out the contract about two weeks before expiration so that my profit isn't eroded due to the time factor.

which tickers are you talking about

You can pretty much take your pick. I'm still riding with $MSFT and $FB. Both had record days yesterday, then dropped like crazy. I sold my contract about 10% before the record high. $MSFT hit $216 yesterday and now is $205. I anticipate a slight further dip. If I can get a contract with an out of the money strike price of $200 or lower. I will be dancing in real soon.

End of August plays, are you betting that the market will be lower due to a possible shutdown?

Really huge selloff so far. Most large names in red.

Was feeling good after my call on SPY. Tried my hand at BA and MRNA. I have a small account and got out of them after being red for so long. Both are going crazy right now. Options...

Sold NOK and BIMI for small profit. Riding MU and NIO on the way back up in AH through rest of the week and beyond. Holding tight for the next opportunity. Looking for some realistic options to play with my paper money account. Buying calls or covered calls seems a lot simpler than credit spreads.

I made some good money in after hours.
Man, AH was insane tonight.

Everyone, I advise you to pay attention to PM in the morning. If it echos tonight's AH, get in early with a slightly out of the money call options contract. Let it grow for you and sell before 11am. You will make an easy few hundred or thousand, depending how much you leverage.

Not sure what is going on, but most of the airlines are rallying during AH. Tomorrow might be a good day to pick one and do a large day trade scalp.

Do not keep it!!! I repeat, do not keep it. When you see a nice profit, sell it immediately. Do not hang on to it thinking you are missing money.

hopefully TTOO has a continues to rise tomorrow....i dont wanna cash out just yet.

What tipped you to pick up BOXL?

Got in @ $8.70, sold at $25

Almost fucked up and held overnight, that's what happened the last two times I was up, and fell off.

Had to secure the bag this time.
Just happened to check my Webull and I got in at 14 but I was at work and couldn’t watch it. I don’t like setting stop losses and sold after the first halt around 22.75 and almost got sick when I checked it again an hour later and it was damn near 27 and halted again lol

honestly, i just feed off whats going on in the news.
the govt is trying to do any and everything it can to get schools back open this fall.
and with Boxlight being an education technology company that specializes in areas of virtual and interactive learning among other things, just made it a wise choice for me to invest in that stock.
Any bioscience or pharmaceutical company that has anything to do with Covid-19, would be a good choice to invest in right now as well. With cases rising, the need for testing is going to be greater in the coming days and weeks. Which is why I buy heavy in TTOO and FLDM (companies that specialize in covid19 test kits).

I expect FLDM to continue to rise exponentially over the next couple weeks, because their new covid test is easier, faster, and less evasive than the test that is currently being used. I bought in at $3.30 back in June, Hoping they can jump to like $8 or $9 by next month.

And also, with airlines expected to layoff 30-40,000 people this Fall, also to coincide with both the Flu season and Covid, its gonna be a lot less air travel, so im expecting them to take a hit. But if a shutdown causes a dip before then, I'm gonna buy while those prices are low. Usually when airlines take a hit, hotels take a big hit as well. So I closely monitor both and buy in when millionaire investors are bailing out.,....then just hold on for the longterm and monopolize on the rebound.....whenever that may be, but usually a couple months.

Appreciate the breakdown.
