Anyone catch the Karen joke in Pixar's Soul? Theres some issues with it...

All I know is that before Up and Coco (both by Pixar) no one has been "chopping onions" around me at an Animated movie since like an American Tail, and I was like 5 or 6 when i watched that movie...lol...so if it's a "deep" movie..like that..im good..lol

The original “Watership Down” gets me everytime. I felt bad for the rabbits and the end scene with the main rabbit going off with the spirit rabbit with the music gets me.

And don’t get me started with “Bambi” when them Good Ol’ Boyz kills his mother.

HaHa!!!

I wanted to like this so much, but I do feel that there was some Green Book shit going on with this movie. i.e. Black person who mostly has their shit together has to rely on white person with deep issues to help them resolve their own issues.

I wish the Black side characters would have more direct impact on helping the main character achieve their goal. See Akeelah and the Bee for an example of what I'm talking about. The whole hood joined in to help her with the prep for National spelling bee. Versus just having the Professor character be a savior for her.

The other Soul wasn't white or black. It wasn't even born yet to have an ethnic background. So there was no white person helping him with anything. U less you count the hippie who just provided information to move the plot along.
