I'm tired of going jogging late night and don't have the time anymore. I WANT SOMETHING RELIABLE AND STURDY UNDER A G. I don't know shit about them or what makes one better over the other. Any recommendations?

I tried the under $1,000 treadmill. None of them are worth your time or $. Gym membership is a better investment unless you are willing to shell out $2- $3K for a durable one.

Nordictrack....best for under $1000. Catch them on sale regularly at Sears. The wider the better, at least 20 in belt.

check out sole or smooth.

smooth has sales a lot. get the most expensive one you can afford.

Its on you but If you want to get in shape and shred and spend 30 bucks and 15 minutes a day...all you need is a agility ladder and maybe 6 cones. its gonna target your typeIIs get you in shape fast. Dont get to thinking that just because youre on a treadmill for an hour running linear aat that (though the belt is moving , youre not moving it) youre gonna get in good condition.

type 2's are fast twitch them shits are powerful but extinguish fast, and they the ones that have larger motor nueron...there are other sub typeIIs but nevermind that unless you world class...think of it this way marathon runners are slow twitch and sprinters are fast twitch, and when it comes to build (not conditioning) which would you rather be built like

Save your money. Jump rope or do jumping jacks instead.

JR/JJs for 1 minute. Rest for 1. Rinse. Repeat. 30 minutes minimum. I personally do it for an hour 5 days a week.

Important: Don't jump so high. You barely have to leave the floor to be effective.

Im not buying that shit. I swim and play basketball a few (2) times a week.. hit some weights and some gym time the other week.... repeat..

Fuck a treadmill, especially a cheap ass one...:smh:..... for me .....

If you gon get one, GET ONE . :hmm:

I'm sure there are a lot of people who have them but never use them, heck Craigslist

agreed... the cheap ones dont have many features and the build quality especially in the belt area is crappy and your knees will pay from walking/running on it.

check craigslist you can find a good quality used one from someone who wants to get rid or it or is moving and cant take it with them.

plyometrics is a good workout and will have you sucking air like crazy.

doing jumping jacks on a a bench or a step and a few risers will really get the heart rate up.

Jumping rope, damn I forgot about that. How long? Like . Mins? You do reps or what? Thanks for the info on the treadmills too.

1 minute work

30-45 seconds rest

do it for 30-45 minutes 3-4 times a week

as mentioned above you can mix it up with different exercises over the 30-45 minutes

burpees
plyometrics
core work

if it gets to intense for you just do one exercises that gets the heart rate up followed by an exercise that is not so intense. example jump rope for one minute then go do a wall squat for a minute. just make sure squat is at 45 degrees and you hands are not resting on your knees.

Sole is the only recommended unit In that price area. I'd go 1,500 and a warranty for the long term and stability

I laughed at my coworker when he said he started jump roping 4 days a week for 30 mins called him a 10 year old girl......dude dropped 40 pounds in 2 months:cool:

Check Craigslist or Buylines women always buy good quality gym equipment and get then bored with it.

Man I don't know how people use them damn treadmills. :smh: I have to constantly move. Can't stay in place and walk/jog. Fuck dat shit. I brought a pair of football cleats and I just go on a field and sprint. Can do it in any weather too. Helps me burn fat the quickest. That's my suggestion. And I work 65/70 hrs a week and I find the time for it.
