nice yard...
some mj will grow from sprout to taller than that fence in a couple of days (literally)
and will stick out like aliens before growing buds

you might try planting a row of sunflowers as a shield and put the weed 3-4' inside to prevent "early harvesting"
but hopefully the type you plant will be bush/short type

In Queens - I've seen seeds dropped before blunt rolling, in a sunny lot, become 5 foot plants days later

Planted like 20 seeds
Got about 6-7 that “caught on”

I'll water on evenings when I can.

I'll redo in the winter when temps are cooler and snow can provide more wetness.

Good stuff.

I had to resod a 2500 sq ft lawn last year. Done by my wife and I...Not fun, but very accomplished that we tackled it ourselves.

Fall is when I am gonna do it. MidWest winters would be nearly impossible. But that is why the guy was using Pete Moss as it retains water better. I tried to do this, this spring but it is hard to keep my lawn watered every/other day. I am gonna hold off until next fall and dethatch and put down some gypsum this year.

I wouldn't recommend letting them grow like that, in one big mass, unless you plan to soon cull it down to the best two plants and allow those to grow together. The way they started they'll be difficult but not impossible to separate for growing individually, because the separating will likely kill most of them. Letting them grow together the way they are I'd bet they'll choke and stunt each other.

The way they started they'll be difficult but not impossible to separate for growing individually, because the separating will likely kill most of them. Letting them grow together they way they are I'd bet they'll choke and stunt each other.
