Only 5%. The rest of us are hetero. Well, I'd estimate that 50% of BGOL is "something else" of one variety or another, but in the real world, the average is 5%. And they're still Black. Yet when we talk about a Black agenda, that becomes problematic on the board as well.

And the definition of an outsider is someone who does not conform or fit in with the majority for whatever reason. The majority of human beings are heterosexuals who identify with the genders they were born as.
And back to my original point.......this is a conversation that would have been banned on BGOL several years ago. The fact that we can have it is a good thing, imo, especially considering how anti-intellectual some of the board members can be. Although this was intended to be a light-hearted thread..............

Contrary to the belief a lot of folks,trans people still date the opposite sex but society have been conditioned to associate it with being gay and LGBT probably get tired of explaining.
Many trans women still pound out and date women. Many trans men still get that DDP from men.
This is also why there's in fighting in the LGBT community but thats another topic.
