Most 'rebuttals' are usually freestyle, spit off the top.

But what most battlers do is.... spit a freestyle rebuttal at the very START of their round... then transition into their 'pre-written' raps. :yes:

Only a few emcees nowadays can spit a rebuttal in the very middle, or at the very end of a 'written' round.

I've only seen these guys do it before...

- DNA
- Charlie Clips
- Hollow Da Don
- Dizaster
- Serious Jones
- Thesaurus
- Illmaculate
- Real Deal
- Jae Millz

but I really like what he says about certain rappers who built more for battle rap then main stream he aint say no names but I'm sure he was talking about...

Papoose and many of these internet rappers who have bars but dont necessarily make good music/songs

I'm a super casual battle rap fan like tuckdog but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't lightweight excited for the budden hollow battle.

Hollow is the best. But I don't expect him to be appreciated as top 3 but at least top 5.

Dude just will never stumble or trip on his words or choke. He in a class of his own. unorthodox style that can take upon any style and scheme and it be believeable.
 
He's arguably the best freestyler.

Overall He has to be top 5, but I think he's a slightly inferior version of Charlie Clips.

I just think Clips does everything he does, but better.

However, most top-tier battlers have areas of expertise.

He's nicest in some aspects, especially when he is motivated to battle a certain guy.

He's got great crowd control, a really unorthodox style. Most people spit whole rounds in order. I watched an interview with him where he says he writes 4-8, maybe 16 bar bits and recalls them in his rounds as he sees fit. That kinda mind is incredible. Plus, he can freestyle his way from one bit to another to segue topics. He does write some filler but he will come
With at least a few haymakers per round.

I'd say his weaknesses are the filler and I really don't like his voice lol. He screams a lot in an attempt to project his voice.


With Joe, hollow will have to make sure not spit too much shit that only battlers understand, use his freestyle, and do the obvious- use all the ammo that Joey has out there in his public life and make the crowd laugh.


Joe will just have to get through his rounds and hope his bar game is so I'll that some may consider that good enough for a win. He will have to perform his shit. And what he writes has to drive the crowd crazy. And he better hope hollows freestyle rebuttals miss

I think his freestyle is better than Clips, as well as DNA. But Clips bars and jokes are just so relevant. Clips would MURDER joe, no question. I think Hollow will too. You can see him bulling with his superior wit. These dudes go way further than people are used to
 
Hollow could be nicer than he is.

In general, he's above average lyrically. I've heard him kick some really top shelf shit, tho'.

However, I, like you, do not like his voice.

I don't like Hitman Holla's voice that much, but...

...his performance overpowers his weak vocals.

arsenoal,mook, and trex are made for big stages big egos and voice projection big t too for their stage presence. loaded stage presence was better at calicoe battle.
