While I agree with that, there are so many places hiring out here right now, that you can actually make it to where you are making 14-20 dollars even more an hour if you play it right..its almost getting promoted faster during war time..you can come up quickly an actually end up a manager, making a good salary because there is no one else there to promote...it depends on the job...and the thing about it is..all services are being affected..there are restaurants now that have long lines and are completely closing down because they can't find people to work..im not saying that people should be fine with accepting low wages, but what i am saying, look at the situation as temporary.."i have to do this for a few months and then im moving to the next one"
Very unfortunate. He's been working all this time in movies and traveling and doesn't have any money. More to this story, R.I.P.

Nothing about that clip came off as entitled. She even stated the exact amount she has been given so far along with exact amounts for burial and plans for service and body. Shes just a struggling grieving widow trying to make ends meet. No need to shit on her or lecture her during her lowest moments.

I'm not going to judge her because she is grieving but no one owes her or her family anything.

Stop with all the excuses, there are commercials running on tv all day & night where you can get low cost burial insurance. And hell life insurance isn't really that expensive either. I know average folks who've never made anything close to what he's probably made that have insurance in place to protect their families.
It's no one else's responsibility to pay for your funeral no matter if you worked with them, hung out with them or anything else. Also she wants $15k, shit there are much less expensive options.

All depends. 15 years ago I had a 10 year term policy for 550k
I started paying $38 a month and at year 10 they wanted $80 (price isn't fixed on term)
I had to give blood. They also ask you questions about your health and parents health. (say no, no, no....to everything)
5 years ago I got a plan through my job, I had 750k for $50 bucks a month, no blood.
I will assume once you past a threshold of coverage or age they will want blood.
Only the really cheap life insurance policies that pay you 10k-25k (burial costs) don't ask for any type of medical history
Most jobs have a default pseudo type plan where they give you 2.5x your salary but that's not big money to most.

Never understand why people don't have their exit plan (will, insurance etc.) together especially those who have or had money. Why do some peoples families feel that others should help those who have fucked up their money. Bet most of his money was spent helping no good family members out who couldn't pay him back. Bro, the second part of what you said may or may not be true, but if you think someone is supposed to have gotten over grieving a lost family member in "almost 3 weeks", you either never lost someone close or have never given a fuck about anyone.
It was a joke, I just didn’t want to put Lol or have a laughing emoji.
She spoke about money, not love. She was tired of what she called the “Fake” love, she wanted love to be shown in money.
She came across as negative, people didn’t even know that she needed money for a funeral and she was complaining about the love shown instead of money donated.
I just didn’t like her approach. Humbly ask for help instead of they way she went about it.
But in the end my opinion doesn’t matter, because she got the money with her approach.
I have mixed feelings about her statement but I’m going to say this……black people get life insurance and explain it to your love ones the details of your life insurance. Every year I have a talk with my mom and sisters About my life insurance and other benefits when I do my open enrollment plans with my job. Again people we need to be open about this because I am sick of us going through this every time someone dies. You all think this is bad you should see what’s going on with people with Covid deaths.
