A couple of months porn-free--some observations

I don't have orgasms as quickly. I seem to be more in tune with myself and my partner. I do miss it a little bit. Especially my girls Jada & Kitten and also Jean-Claude batiste. But I'm hanging in there.

Is there anybody on SOL who does not watch porn or use it with your partner? Why? Did you ever watch it? What made you stop?

i never needed porn with a partner...even if it happens to be on when we are doing it that flick is the last thing on my mind

but ive found that alone i almost need it...i can get the job done regardless...but porn makes it quicker and more intense

Why did you feel the need to go on a porn-fast? Did you think that it was affecting your perception of your relationships or that it occupied too much of your time/attention, you were becoming desensitized when it came to real people?

I only use your porn reference here as an example, but often people declare that they are going cold turkey/abstaining from something (sex, drinking, meat, going out, activities, ice cream, etc., -- whatever) for (to me) no compelling reason.

I mean if you enjoy something, and it is not adversely affecting your life (addiction, not paying attention to other aspects of your life, dangerous, neglecting family, friends, job, health, etc.,) why not enjoy it? Why deprive yourself of the pleasure you derive from it?

I made an agreement. I love porn, but I don't need it. I was only commenting on some differences I've noticed.
