first i ve listened and listen to all the artist who were interviewed.
cam had some good points....got luv for him.

The reason being is that most of the upper-level rappers (50, Nelly, Snoop, Em, Jay-Z, Luda, etc.) know how the record industry hype machine works. Now if you know that and you continuously talk shit about others who don't have the machine behind them then of course you will build resentment. They all know that rap catalogs are basically worthless. Nobody's buying their shit 10 years later. Sales drop like 70% after the first week. That means what? They are worthless in the long run and only as good as their last record. 50 is selling NOW, so he's talking shit. The second he drops off (and he WILL), the sharks will decend on him and just like he shitted on Ja Rule, he too will get shat on by some other hungry cat and it'll be over. Cats like Lyor Cohen and to a much lesser extent, Jimmy Iovine (I suspect that's who CamRon was talking about being 50s "right hand man) play these rappers until they are useless to them. If Gwen Stefani had the top selling record for the next 3 years and wanted 50's position at Interscope, she'd have it easily. All they care about is $$$. There's no future money in rap because nobody really does rap covers with the exception of a couple here and there (Snoop redid La-di-da-di). He couldn't have the same arguement with say, Beyonce because his back catalog is worthless and hers isn't. The likelihood of someone redoing his songs is slim to none. He's a good hustler, I give him that but as an entertainer, he's only as good as his last hit while other more musical artists can count on long-run money from their records.
