Iont Know About All That I Saw Dudes Pro Day and He Was Under Throwing the Receivers and Struggling With Ball Speed On Out Routes That Was Even Being Said by Scouts Who Were There....This Dude Is Another Alabama QB Bust....If He Was This Dominate How Come He Didn't Beat Tua Out While at AlabamaBut how would we be going backwards?
Mac Jones is already better than jimmy G, right now
Just for the simple fact that Jones will throw less picks
Jimmy is a turnover machine
Constantly doing dumb shit every single game (hence the Bad Jimmy nick name)
Mac can already do the exact same things jimmy can, + protect the football more
Plus Mac has a slightly stronger arm than Jimmy as well
Mac will throw more/better deep balls

1. Zach Wilson is Shannahan's primary target
(But the Jets will take him at #2)
2. So Mac Jones will be Shanny's secondary target
Kyle has a qb friendly system anyone is a good fit for his system
That's why he makes every qb look good in it
So by that logic every qb in the draft is a good fit

A lot of people bring up the Bama doesn't produce good QB's argument (just because its Bama)
But can't the same argument be made about Ohio State?

If we can't get Wilson, I would draft whoever wants Fields or Nance and trade him for their position and future second and go get Pitts.
Then use that future pick to go get Sam Donald from the Jets

Didnt watch, but just from following him on Twitter he's been shittin on Justin Fields for awhile now.
Im a fields fan he's a pro qb kyle system is easy
Ohio State (Justin Fields) has their pro day this coming Tuesday
Plus
Alabama (Mac Jones) has their second pro day Tuesday as well
Should be interesting to see if Shanny or Lynch goes to any of them

From my friend who works for Niners the trade was made to position us to do one of 3 things
1.Draft Fields(with Mac Jones as a 2nd choice if Fields shits the bed at combines and work outs)
2.Use pick along with Jimmy G trade with Pats and other picks potentially to trade for Watson
3.Keep Jimmy G draft Fields and have him backup for this year.
Watson would be a slam dunk move,that I believe would be a SB title or tiles in next 5 years and MVP awards for Watson. Fields has the potential in this system to be Mahomes part 2. So its a win win.
Now the piss in the plan is if Mac Jones or that kid from South Dakota show out at combines and Fields struggles. Then we could be looking at a crap shoot.
Unfortunately there won't be the usual combine this year
Teams are having "pro days" instead + virtual interviews that day, etc, etc
Trey Lance, Mac Jones, Zach Wilson all had their pro days already
Justin Fields is having his, this Tuesday
And there is also a 2nd Alabama pro day this Tuesday

my neighbor is an Alabama Alumni who played for Bear Bryant and of course is a fanatic and he said the buzz around his pro day was he knocked it out of the park so convincingly that he could be the 2nd or 3rd QB taken instead of 5th. He said the Bama scout said he looks so much like Brady it’s almost an imitation.

You have to see 'em in person
You have to see in person how he spins the ball, the velocity, the mechanics, etc, etc
Watching on film is sometimes different than seeing in person
But I also heard Lynch & Mike (daddy) Shannahan was at Zach Wilson's pro day
Honestly.....I think Zach Wilson is option #1
But if the Jets pick him, then we go with Mac Jones as option #2
So I guess we will see come draft day
