49ers

But how would we be going backwards? :dunno:
Mac Jones is already better than jimmy G, right now
Just for the simple fact that Jones will throw less picks

Jimmy is a turnover machine
Constantly doing dumb shit every single game (hence the Bad Jimmy nick name)
Mac can already do the exact same things jimmy can, + protect the football more
Plus Mac has a slightly stronger arm than Jimmy as well
Mac will throw more/better deep balls

:dunno::dunno::dunno:
Iont Know About All That I Saw Dudes Pro Day and He Was Under Throwing the Receivers and Struggling With Ball Speed On Out Routes That Was Even Being Said by Scouts Who Were There....This Dude Is Another Alabama QB Bust....If He Was This Dominate How Come He Didn't Beat Tua Out While at Alabama

Man that's even disrespectful to Ryan Fitzpatrick
  ......Exactly.... This Dude Ain't It.....We Got a Team Primed and Ready to Make Multiple Championship Runs....Shanny About to Fuck Up and Give Us Alice Smith Again and Set Us Back 10 Years All Over Again :smh:

Why all the hate for Mac Jones???
He's a better prospect than Tua
And Tua was drafted #5 last year
Jones looks like a younger Kirk Cousins
He would fit perfectly in Shanny's system

:dunno::dunno::dunno:

If I had to take a guess.....
1. Zach Wilson is Shannahan's primary target
(But the Jets will take him at #2)
2. So Mac Jones will be Shanny's secondary target
The hate is because he's not a top 3 pick
Kyle has a qb friendly system anyone is a good fit for his system

That's why he makes every qb look good in it

So by that logic every qb in the draft is a good fit

Can you hand the ball off?

Can you make easy reads?

Can you throw it to the dude Kyle has schemed wide open?

Yes?

Congrats you're a scheme fit lol

You go for the most talent to maximize and make a super star

Not mac jones.

And people keep making the argument
"Bama Qb's don't have a good track record, etc, etc"

But shit, can't you make the same argument for Ohio State QB's
Dwayne Haskins flamed out, so will Justin Fields be the exception? :dunno:

Don't shoot the messenger...I'm just sayin :dunno:

Cause mac is ass

Get justin fields who did it better and is better in every way

It's not about his school
It's about his talent

He's ken dorsey.

Matt amended that take
He reconsidered and said trey lance.
I Feel Like Wilson Will be There at 3 Because Darnold Can Probably Ball He Was Just Stuck With Freebase Gase.... Now That He's Gone and He Has a Competent Head Coach and They Are Getting Some Weapons He Prolly Would Ball Out This Year....Even Moreso If They Take Sewell to Protect Him For the Next 10 Years

Haskins Got Stuck In Washington..... When He Takes Over and Is Playing Well In Pittsburgh You'll See What I Mean Cause Dude Has the Tools Just Didn't Have the Guidance Or Support.....And I Wouldn't Shoot the Messenger He Good People and Has Good Taste in Football Teams

Others have brought up the argument about Bama QB's
So it is about the school.....to some people
Not trying to put Blackman80 on the spot
But read what he said on the previous page
But I've heard that argument from quite a few people though
Understood

Mac jones is an average player not an organization changing player

This is who the miners said this pick will be.

Look we don't need 1st round picks we've got every other position sowed up

Let's draft the organizational qb and win in this window on his rookie deal before paying all our stars

That's exactly what this signals

If it was mac jones you stay put get him at 12 and then go with it

Not all Qb's are a scheme fit
Shanny's system is timing/rhythm based
You have to anticipate the open man
Not wait to see him get open first

Plus you have to have good ball placement
So the Deebo, Ayuck, Kittle can run for more yac
Too many times I've watched Jimmy throw passes too high & off target

Shit thats how Kittle got hurt
Jumping up for a pass when he was wide open, then Budda Baker taking out his knee
I can't remember if that was Mullens throwing the ball though?
But you get my point
MAC has the best accuracy & ball placement in the draft

C'mon CD... Hawkins was a risk prior to the draft. That's he fell to the middle of the first round

Huh?
My point is not to argue about Haskins
But what I was rebutting is that...
A lot of people bring up the Bama doesn't produce good QB's argument (just because its Bama)
But can't the same argument be made about Ohio State? :dunno:

But you don't have to anticipate the read by faith in his offense

He tells you this guy will be open drop back and throw it to him

That's when jimmy was playing better he was doing that

He started shitting the bed when he was hesitating almost all of his interceptions were late or making the wrong decision cause he's predictable lol

Wilson
Fields
Lance fit that system so we don't have to worry about all the qbs just those

But unlike Haskins, none of those Qb's would be considered busts because they weren't first or even second round picks. Haskins is a one off being drafted that high knowing the history of Ohio State qbs being trash.

If we can't get Wilson, I would draft whoever wants Fields or Nance and trade him for their position and future second and go get Pitts.

Then use that future pick to go get Sam Donald from the Jets

Ohio State (Justin Fields) has their pro day this coming Tuesday
Plus
Alabama (Mac Jones) has their second pro day Tuesday as well

Should be interesting to see if Shanny or Lynch goes to any of them
And interesting to hear what the beat-writers & talking heads have to say
:puzzled::puzzled::puzzled:

From my friend who works for Niners the trade was made to position us to do one of 3 things
1.Draft Fields(with Mac Jones as a 2nd choice if Fields shits the bed at combines and work outs)
2.Use pick along with Jimmy G trade with Pats and other picks potentially to trade for Watson
3.Keep Jimmy G draft Fields and have him backup for this year.

Watson would be a slam dunk move, that I believe would be a SB title or tiles in next 5 years and MVP awards for Watson. Fields has the potential in this system to be Mahomes part 2. So its a win win.
Now the piss in the plan is if Mac Jones or that kid from South Dakota show out at combines and Fields struggles. Then we could be looking at a crap shoot.

Unfortunately there won't be the usual combine this year
Teams are having "pro days" instead + virtual interviews that day, etc, etc
Trey Lance, Mac Jones, Zach Wilson all had their pro days already

Justin Fields is having his, this Tuesday
And there is also a 2nd Alabama pro day this Tuesday
Mac Jones said he's going to be there again

my neighbor is an Alabama Alumni who played for Bear Bryant and of course is a fanatic and he said the buzz around his pro day was he knocked it out of the park so convincingly that he could be the 2nd or 3rd QB taken instead of 5th. He said the Bama scout said he looks so much like Brady it’s almost an imitation.

And F.Y.I. Peters is who convinced them to get Kittle
So his word is LAW as well so don't read into less interest.

Very interesting :dunno:
The thing about QB's though
Its almost like buying a car
You have to see 'em in person
You have to see in person how he spins the ball, the velocity, the mechanics, etc, etc
Watching on film is sometimes different than seeing in person

But I also heard Lynch & Mike (daddy) Shannahan was at Zach Wilson's pro day
Honestly.....I think Zach Wilson is option #1
But if the Jets pick him, then we go with Mac Jones as option #2
So I guess we will see come draft day

This is going to be a defining moment for this franchise
Like the Alex Smith vs Aaron Rogers draft
This shit will either set us up for 10+ years, or set us back for close to 10 years
Cause if they pick the wrong guy, they are definitely getting fired

I know we need a qb but damn Kyle Pitts looks like the real deal. Imagine him and Kittles on opposite sides with Debo running quick/rac routes and Aiyuk going deeper. Shit would be scary

I agree with that was Ohio St QBs doesn't do well in the NFL as well....They are risky to draft
