49ers

#49ers QB Blaine Gabbert is 4 of 9. His completions have covered 2, 3, 1 and 4 yards.
#49ers Blaine Gabbert in preseason: 7 of 20, 31 yards, INT, 22.9 rating.

We traded a 6th rd pick + the rest of his contract ($2 million) is guaranteed
The coaching staff is trying sooooo hard to justify their decision for getting him
Gabbert is only throwing 3 yard passes & still fucking that up

The coaches are very stubborn
They need to cut their losses & admit their mistake, like the AJ Jenkins pick
They are going to shaft Josh Johnson again & not give him enough playing time
We can't even evaluate the rest of the offense b/c Gabbert & the O-line is so bad

:smh::smh::smh:

:smh::smh::smh:

don't say and the o-line the o-line has played excellent both games.

every qb has had all the time in the world to do what they want.

kap had a clean jersey missing half the starters

and gabbert has had time to do whatever he wanted

he just sucks

Y'all still watching this bullshit
49ers coaches leaving Gabbert in to pad his stats against 2nd & 3rd stringers
The first time he went deep..... INTERCEPTION !!!

And rookie Dontae Johnson got burnt like toast
Our team has looked likes crap the past few games

:smh::smh::smh:

keep in mind. our 2nd and 3rd string are playing against 1's

and 3rd strings against 2's

and people that won't be on the team like purcell who will be out on the street in 2 weeks.

WRONG !!!
The RIGHT SIDE of the O-line has not been playing good
Looney, Snyder, Jonathan Martin, & Marcus Martin, ALL have not looked good

Anthony Davis will be back week #1, but what about Boone ???
The front office needs to swallow their pride & work something out with Boone
:hmm::hmm::hmm:

What are you watching? lol

how many sacks have they given up? how much time has the qb' had?

you didn't even hear demarcus ware's name today.

gabbert had all day

kap had all day

gabbert just sucks

and then johnson comes in and does that bullshit.

it's not because of the line

The right side of the O-line has given up a lot of pressure both games now
Just b/c there are no sacks, doesn't mean they are doing a good job
On that deep near TD pass from Kaep to Lloyd, the right side gave up pressure & Kaep had someone right in his face when he threw the ball

I've seen plenty of times where our RB doesn't have lanes b/c the defensive player blew past our right guard
What game have YOU been watching
I've seen the games on NFL preseason live & have replayed it to catch everything

so have i so i know you're saying false things.

they've been playing GOOD

did you forget that they're 2nd stingers going against starters???? lol

that's good to hear that anthony davis will be back soon and they do need to something and get boone back..our O-line looks awful on the right side!!..we can't have that!!.

also, Jonathan Martin is fuckin garbage!!..:angry::angry:...i don't why they brought his sorry ass on the team!!...he got to go!!..:angry::angry:

On that last drive, the refs & the flags were helping more than the offense
Getting shut out, at our 1st home game, in the new stadium
Pathetic !!!

:smh::smh::smh:

I'd like to formally apologize to ya'll for the abomination that is Blaine Gabbert. Yeah, I know no one forced your GM to take him but still....:(:smh::smh::puke:

Next week will be very telling
Justin Smith, RayMac, Ian Williams, & Patrick Willis should ALL be back
So no more excuses !!!

If our defense still looks like crap next week, then we have a serious problem
I'm not a fan of Wilhoite, Borland, or Moody

im not worried about the d. 2 weeks in a row the other team's biggest plays were in every spot that the people you name had vacated..

outside has been great

safety play has been superb with the starters.

just the middle with the line and linebackers has been the problem.

the only thing i am worried about on this team is the backup qb situation

our right side of the line is missing and has been playing well against the starters of other teams.

sign boone and get it over with and the line is not only great again but now has depth.

everything else we're good

i just do not believe in gabbert or johnson.

If Crabtree can stay healthy...yall receiving corps will probably be in the top 5 in the league....

:itsawrap::itsawrap::itsawrap::itsawrap::itsawrap::itsawrap:

Yall might have a chance to sweep Seattle this season

You guys were very workman today.
Peyton exploited the middle like he was supposed to but im encouraged that our outside db's even - 1 starter were able to handle the screens and tackle thomas for little to no gain after the catch.

defensive side you need to tighten up the safety help and get bodies healthy and you're good to go imo.

the real test will be during the regular season when peyton is seeing a full squad on defense including line pressure and not dudes that are going to be on the street next week lol.

Rahim Moore who is the starting Saftey is coming back from injury......they're giving him limited snaps in the preseason

It looks like he's scared,but I think he will get over it,once the regular season start...

Having those two will be great...but Im worried about the backups since they're so young....:smh::smh::smh:

Von haven't played yet in the preseason,but might do so next week against the Texans.....:yes::yes::yes:

What a horrible way to open up Levi's
:hmm:
Had us in the hot ass sun pissed!
the place vacated rather quickly so I can't speak on how loud it'll hopefully get.
I thought they would reroute the airplanes from SJ airport :confused:, the planes were def noticeable.
Thought the traffic there and exiting was very good.
Fuck the parking though, had to walk 20 mins from car to stadium :hmm:

I'm watching the game replay right now on NFL preseason live
A few things I noticed

1. On the Broncos 1st drive of the game
Remember when Manning threw a pass to his WR in the endzone?
Manning was off (to the left) by a yard or so
Then they had to settle for a field goal
Guess who the DB was that got burnt on that play & almost gave up the touchdown???..... Chris Culliver !!! :smh:

2. On the Broncos 2nd drive of the game
Antoine Bethea gets knocked out, then the next play Manning throws a long TD pass to Thomas
At first it looks like Craig Dahl screwed up but in reality....

Right before the ball is snapped you see Culliver, Borland, & Dahl talking & pointing.
Trying to communicate their assignments
3 Broncos WR's on the right side, then Thomas & the RB running on the left side (where Borland, Cully, & Dahl are)

Manning looks off the safety & looks at the RB running the short route
BOTH Borland & Culliver bite & BOTH try to cover the RB in the flat
This allows Thomas to run right past them untouched
Thomas also runs past safety Craig Dahl for the easy TD
Dahl turns around looking like "what happened to my help"?

On that play either Borland or Culliver blew their assignment
How da fuck do you let big ass Demaryius Thomas run right past you like that
Since Thomas is a 6'3" WR, who runs a 4.4..... the player who should have been on him, should have been, Chris Culliver
Then Borland should have had the RB running the short route

Edit: Also with the 3 Broncos WR's
It looks like Jimmy Ward blew his assignment & covered the wrong man
The Broncos WR's ran a crossing route, & there were 3 49ers DB's covering 1 Broncos WR, while the other WR was wide da fuck open for the 1st down
So Manning had 2 wide open options on that play !!!

1st, the same can be said about talib then right? cause kap almost made the play.. the play didn't happen on either end. so it doesn't count.

2nd on the td pass culliver was NOT responsible for thomas on that route, borland had whatever wr would be in the middle of the field because logically it would be easier for a lb to drop back into coverage than it would be for a db to chase someone into that same area after not being matched up on them from the los.

culliver took his guy, borland tried to cheat up and make a play instead of being in his area in the middle of the field

and dahl is just dahl he stood there and watched.. even if borland blows the coverage he is still the last line of defense there wouldn't have been a scenario where he shouldn't have been running with thomas even if borland didn't bite on the fake.. guarantee you bathea would have went back running with a wr running wide open no matter what.

that's just on dahl being trash and borland not taking care of his assignment. it would be nothing for him to drop back right into the area that was vacated.. he should've done it from the snap, culliver did his responsibility which was taking away the crossing since the lb should be out of that area.

ward is doing ok, he's going through everything right now.. he isn't getting flat out burned he's learning the nuances of playing the slot.. and i would rather have a player get better than a player who would be getting worse (rogers)

the bar is low for ward, rogers gave up an 80% completion rate last year.

The communication between the secondary was great, it's translating it to the lb's that was the trouble. those aren't the lb's that would normally be in there, so they're learning..especially borland whereas if it was bow and pat in there, it would be a no brainer they'd know exactly what to do..

NOW

pat coming back will help that part of it tremendously because he is the qb of that level so they'll have him there to make sure everyone is in their right position. so im not too worried about the communication, the substitute teacher is out there... wait until the real teach comes back.

secondary communication has been spot on though, they're really doing their thing on the outside and safety positions. its just getting those linebackers (whihote and borland) in the right spots.

those 2 need to step it up if 1 of them wants to actually play on opening day

I know it's just preseason, but :smh: :smh:

Nah im not worried man. we have yet to field a complete team out there. we need to sign boone and get the line right and then choose who's going to play alongside pat and get that settled.

the biggest difference if mac ian and justin NOT being there. they clean all that other shit up. the pressure and the run game.

Yea I wasn't 100% sure who blew that coverage
But right before the ball is snapped Cully is talking to Borland & then pointing to the short route/field, as if to say "you take the short route"
And Borland would be too slow & short to cover Thomas anyway
Borland is 5'11" and runs a 4.8 time
Demaryius Thomas is a 6'3" probowl WR that runs a 4.4 time

:hmm::hmm::hmm:
