we did what we were supposed to do and took shots. the defense settled down and shit man we should be 5-0 right now I think the team knows this and aren't going to take any games for granted anymore.

using ellington.. next step is using him on routes in the field use his speed to separate. lloyd can't really separate he can make the tough catch though.

I Think our offense is effective when kaep is under center and we have the two backs look!!....when we run the ball and do play action out that formation, we be effective!!..

the most important thing is to do what they can't stop. the chiefs couldn't stop the run so keep running and keep running with gore and hyde.

Only 2 penalties for 10 yards total
No delay of game penalties
No wasted timeouts, b/c we could not snap the ball in time
Seemed like we got the plays in faster for a change
Roman actually called a decent game for a change & stuck with the run
We do need receivers who are able to get separation because the way it is now, all you have to do is cover our guys for three secs and then they seem to get stuck..
Matter of fact our wr's are indicative of our club as a whole, good, tough but have to play damn near perfect due to lack of separation..

I've been saying this all along. The power run game is our bread and butter. It sets everything up. You see Frank still getting it done. Hyde spells him for some action. Thats the perfect recipe for the offense.
Still some fuckery with the play calling though. At least the get the plays off on time today.

just get the calls in let kap work.
offensive line plays excellent when they can hit people in the mouth
im more impressed with this defense. this defense gave up 17 but it was a hard 17 points against a team that just exploded last week
charles was not a factor sans 1 huge play and we shut everything they tried to do down.
now when we get that pass rush together with aldon and maybe tank it's going to be tough sledding
Ellington ran a 4.31 at the NFL combine. we need him to run some go routes and blow by people how the cardinals get the ball in john brown's hands

1. That play where Kap ran for the 1st but didnt look like he got it
Andy Reid challenged but lost
2. The fake punt on 4th&1
3. The Chiefs getting called for 12 men on the field
* Clutch catches by Brandon Lloyd, Anquan Boldin, & Stevie Johnson
* Bruce Miller played a hella good game blocking & opening up lanes for Gore & Hyde
* Frank is still the man, 100+ yards today
* Phil Dawson with two 50+ yard field goals
* The coaches actually called a good game... for the most part
They didn't get too conservative with that prevent defense/offense
They actually grew some balls & went for the kill shot, for a change
* Good clock management for a change
* Defense is improving slowly but surely every game
* Cox & Brock need to be our starters going forward
* The LB's & Safeties are starting to play together as a whole unit, in sync, with chemistry
* For the most part we are stopping the run better than in the 1st few games
** The O-line still needs to get their shit together in pass protection
Hopefully we get Anthony Davis back soon
Boone played damn near worse than J. Martin (umm, what was he holding out for again?)
** The D-line still needs to get more pressure on the QB
Alex had a lot of time back there, especially in the 1st half
They still have Tank on the bench & rarely play Dial
** Special teams needs to get their shit together too
Teams are getting lots of yards returning punts & kickoffs

We have to start dominating games, because constant close games tend to take its toll, plus you cant expect to play perfect and win close every week... Today we was one turnover, one dumb penalty away from blowing this game...
Hopefully when the cavalry comes, we would be able to step up the aggression..
we played far from perfect though.
ever since that cardinals game where boldin called out the refs magically we learned how to play defense and learned how to not get penalties on offense.
it was some ol bullshit.
BUT
we fought through it.
the chiefs are a good team who just came off a huge win and we handled them today.
we just need to stay focused and hungry and we'll get even better than we have been
Same shit, diff week, Defense looks Stellar offense does just enough to not lose. conservative shit play calling... im glad we ran well... the lack of consistent downfield passing coupled with an inability to even consistently string together completed positive passes has me worried... I don't know what it is, but they need to fix it... Greg Roman sucks.
Our style of play leaves very little room for error, and playing that way, especially during the playoffs, can be very dangerous, you'd think after the last three seasons we should get it by now..
Our passing attack is weak. it hasn't gotten any better, last year me and LBO fought all year and it was the weapons... now we got the weapons and It still looks like shit.. Greg Roman gotta go...
But or wr's and pass protection look like shit.. How are you going to make wise decisions as a qb when your getting pressured on every pass while your wr's are blanketed by single man to man cover.
