disagree with that completely. you can't say looney and snyder are trash and then act like he has the time to sit there and go through all of the routes...

as soon as he finishes dropping back the pressure is right there on that side. he's done a great job escaping pressure.

we need to call more of the quick hitting plays and more play action because the rams are bringing pressure every single down.

see on that drive curt.. every qb in the nfl when there's pressure on the edge is taught to move up. kap has done this every time but the times he got sacked it was up the middle as well.. so there was nowhere to go.

but when the middle was sound he's stepped up and either made the throw or made the run.

now does this mean he has been perfect, of course not but just notice those 2 little things that make a difference.

After the line did their job, kap did his. pressure up the middle is a killer for every qb, you can escape left or right side pressure by stepping up.

once that was done he was lights out with multiple options bought time made the right throws went through progressions doing everything everyone was saying he couldn't do.

he locked onto boldin early because boldin had single coverage.. and that's a win for boldin

when crab got the right coverage he tossed it to him

got it to miller

got it to vernon

checked down to the backs...

growing and growing and growing

just need to keep calling an aggressive game

and calls that make sense in the red zone.

I think Staley will miss a lot of time with that injury.
I watched the replay, looked like a sprain.
I'm very confident in Boone playing at LT but.... I dont like Looney in at guard.
Looney reminds me too much of Chilo Rachael... dude is just not good at all.
And Snyder is only marginally better at guard.

I would prefer Kilgore get in ahead of Looney. But they seem to really like Looney.

I also think we should be running more power running plays with Gore. He's much more effective running out of traditional formations and with a lead blocker. He's too slow to run stretch plays. Hunter and LaMichael feasted on those types of plays last year.
