yep exactly the coaches gave him an
opportunity and he hit most of them. It felt like these last two games he had some BS plays called. but tonight they opened it up a bit and even ran a few screen plays
and I dont even pay attention when they say he runs a simple offense. Thats just white folk talk for "dim witted running qb"
that's all any functioning high powered offense is.
give the qb multiple opportunities to hit and then he has to make the plays. but its so much easier to scrutinize him like we have the past few weeks, we can count on 1 hand how many opportunities he really had, and he didn't hit those opportunities.. so it looks like he's the worst qb ever and everyone begins their bs.
but tonight he had about let's call it 8 long completion opportunities
and he hit on 5 of them.. 5 for 8= damn good game.
he hit macdonald who was wide open instead of forcing it to boldin or davis because he knew he would get more opportunities to make plays so he didn't have to make the absolute most because he only has 1 shot. that's the thing. when he only has 1 shot he's going to who he trusts...
if he has MULTIPLE SHOTS then it becomes whoever is open gets the ball...
the next phase will be since we are letting the rb's run out the backfield for the first time consistently all season now, now he'll look at that as an option...
if you only get 5 good pass plays a game with multiple options you're not looking at the rb.
when you start to always get good pass plays then you don't have to hit the home run every time you can dump it off and be just as effective
the only way he can prove he can do it is to let him.
now all of the parroting about 1 read shit has to STOP
boldin on a couple of those plays STILL had no separation however if you give him multiple times to look his way and get into a rhythm he then can get him the ball in those tight windows.
it just works when we do things this way. it becomes dynamic. and we should never go backwards from this point forward
and honestly because we have crab coming back at minimum we will have 2wr on the field at all times and shit that's a HUGE step in the right direction
