For those who have not been keeping up with the 49ers camp:
Quick summary.....
There hasn't been a true QB competition, per say
Jimmy G has been playing mostly with the starters (starting O-line & starting WR, RB, TE)
While Trey Lance has been playing mostly with the backups
(backup O-line with backup pass catchers, but with Kittle, Deebo, Aiyuk sprinkled in occasionally)
And for the most part, Trey Lance has looked really good.....REALLY GOOD
There are two things going on
1) The 49ers are trying to evaluate the rookie Trey Lance
2) The 49ers are trying to sell to the media how much "Jimmy G has improved"
Because they want to pump up his value, so we can possibly trade him for a high draft pick
Everybody & their mother can see that Lance is ballin out there
And it would be a shame if they let mediocre ass Jimmy start the season, week #1 against the Lions
There's a lot of "football politics" going on
There are only 2 more open practices left (Wednesday & Thursday)
Then the media gets cut off from seeing what the team is doing
This coming Saturday is our 1st preseason game vs the Chiefs
So I suspect that they will try & "showcase" Jimmy G
Mudda fukkas are trying to do a cryptocurrency "pump & dump", LOL
But they need to stop wasting time, & let Lance practice with the starters & get ready for the season NOW !!!

Also at the safety position (Tartt can't stay healthy)
And the RT + RG spots are kind of shaky

I been hearing good things coming out of camp about Trey!!...Looking forward to see him play on our first preseason game on Sat..But I do see Trey playing this season!!..

Tartt insurance. Like what I've been hearing about Tavon Wilson though. And did Marcella Harris get hurt and I missed it?
This dude in a simplified defensive role (like ours) could mean a resurgence for him. Good to have the depth. Seems like every season our secondary is decimated before camp even begins.

Fellas, Tartt got injured back in NOVEMBER OF LAST YEAR !!!
He has a toe injury (might be turf toe)

Bruh.....Its looking like Tartt might never play football again
So all we had was:
1) Jimmie Ward (Best cover safety we have)
2) Rookie safety (I can't spell his name & don't feel like looking it up)
3) Jared Mayden (I forgot dude was even on the team, haven't heard his name one time in camp)
4) Tavon Wilson (Career journeyman, who constantly gets burned in camp, dude won't make the final cut anyway)
5) Tony Jefferson (Signed from the Ravens & Jags, but dude got hurt in camp last week, so he's going to miss a few games)
6) Tartt (Might not ever be back)
7) Tarvarius Moore (Dude tore his ACL or Achillies or some shit, before camp started, so he's out for the year)
8) Marcell Harris (Dude plays LB now, in passing situations)
