1. I think we squeak out a win this Sunday at home
2. But they probably squeak out a win against us, when we play again in Arizona
If you look at our stats last year, our pass defense was rated one of the best
While our run defense was rated as average
I think those numbers will flip this year
Teams will test Sherman more because of those big plays he gave up in the playoffs + hes not getting any younger
Buckner was the main one getting pushed around & letting big holes open up in the run defense
Buckner was damn good at getting inside pressure, but he wasn't stout enough to hold up to a double team
Kinlaw is like the exact opposite
Dude is big & strong as hell, but has zero pass rush moves
Him & DJ Jones are gonna help our run defense a ton
Then on obvious passing downs, bring in Solomon Thomas or Kentavious Street, etc, etc
1st down or 2nd & short will probably be:
Armstead -- DJ Jones -- Kinlaw -- Nick Bosa
3rd & long will probably be:
Dee Ford -- Armstead -- Solly -- Nick Bosa
And also, a lot is going to depend on the final injury report
Who the hell is gonna play or not play?
What's the status of Deebo, Ayuck, Ben Garland, Bosa, Ford, Juice, Warner ???
All them dudes are dealing with some sort of injury
But the coaches aren't saying WTF is really going on
