Just a quick summary of the different scenarios:

We need to keep an eye out for the early games on Sunday
1. The Saints play the Panthers
2. And the Packers play the Lions

Scenario #1:
If the Saints, Packers, 49ers all win, there will be a 3 way tie. Each team would be 13-3. But since we already beat both of them, we would get the #1 seed, and I think the Packers would get the #2 seed.
Obviously that would be the best case scenario for us, so we get a week rest + dont have to travel to New Orleans + dont have to travel to Lambo.

Scenario #2:
If the Saints and Packers win (keep in mind they both have early 1:00pm games).....
I honestly think that Pete Caroll might rest or even have some of his starters inactive

Because at that point the Seahawks have no shot of getting the #1 or #2 seed for a bye
They would have to play a wild card game the following week regardless of the outcome of our 9er game
With all the injuries they already sustained, I think Pete might just play it safe & rest his guys for the playoffs

I hear and understand all of this. However, this is Pete Carroll we’re talking about. That dude’s ego is bigger than the Goodyear blimp. I wouldn’t expect him to rest players under any circumstance. He wants to prove he’s better and smarter than anyone else.

1. Packers just won (by the skin of their teeth)
2. And the Saints also won

So next week the Seahawks have to either.....
a) Play the Cowboys/Eagles on the road
b) Or play the Vikings at home

Hawks don't have anything to play for tonight, but pride & division bragging rights
A smart coach would rest his important starters for the playoffs
But.....this is Pete Carroll, so we'll see what happens tonight.....

I've you been watching football you can clearly see that playing the Cowboys or Eagles is clearly the easier playoff path. Even on the road, those two teams pose no threat to any other playoff team.

But as we both mentioned, this is Pete we're talking about and logic doesn't dictate his decisions. He'll want to play at home versus the toughest competition. While Kirk Cousins and the offense can be shaky at time, that defense will bring it.

The one thing I'm nervous about, are injuries !!!
Hopefully none of our guys get seriously hurt
Seems like everytime we play the Seahawks, we lose at least 1 guy
Seattle likes to take cheap shots & likes to play dirty
:please::please::please::please::please:

‘It’s the #1 thing that pisses me off about playing in Seattle.

Jesus Christ Deebo, hold onto the ball
What did I just say !!!
If we don't shoot ourselves in the foot with turnovers
We should win this game

My 49ers Brothers,

2nd half we have to really shut them down..We can't let up and get them back in the day!!...This team is known to come back in games!!

But if we play like we did in the 1sr half, we should get this win!!

Let's go 49ers!!

Uh Oh Seahawks are starting to get some momentum going
That's why Shanny should've stopped being so cute with the playcalling
Seahawks O-line been holding us all night.....about time the refs finally called it
