yes some veggies do have carbs in them but they dont have the sugar content and they have way more vitamins and minerals

sugar=fat

eating a ton of fruit would make you fat

eating a ton of veggies will make you healthy

Was gonna say that Citric Acid doesn't burn fat but, I just read an article that says it has a thermogenic effect on the body & helps burn fat. It also helps break down fats, carbohydrates & protein into carbon dioxide & water. Never heard that before. :dunno:

Yeah someone drop a why you should drink pure lemon water, and it had a link to why it burns fat.

lean xtreme is some good good shit

but i prefer cla as it healthier, cheaper, and it targets abdominal fat

but you cant go wrong with lean xtreme

plus they have something in that shit that keeps your dick on swole :lol:

the one thing i noticed from personal experience and from talking to other people that workout..


cla is great for people under 16% body fat, a friend went from 14% to 10% in no time at all on just multi vitamin and cla added with a good workout routine and diet..

people that are over 18% and definitely in the stage 1 obesity and above show little to no result using cla, maybe a higher dosage would help but until he drops the body fat i don't see it helping him

carbs in veggies are ok because they are complex carbs not simple carbs (google the difference) and are usually accompanied by fiber. The fiber cancels out whatever bad affect the complex carb might have. Its a little more complex than that, I would suggest googling it.

Be careful doing the low carb diets though fellas. Its VERY hard to stick to since we probably have been fed juicy juice, kool-aid and whatever cheap ass sugary shit black folks have been brain washed to feed their kids over generations. We are addicted to simple carbs. On a low carb diet you MUST STICK TO THE SCRIPT. Nothing is more unhealthier than a half assed low carb diet. Trust me...
 
From my own experience here's what you need to do

Take Multivitimans and Fish Oil pills.

AND

Do "compound" wieghtlifting

"Compound exercises allow you to lift heavier weights and work more muscle groups at the same time than isolation exercises. This saves you precious time in the gym while stimulating the maximum amount of muscle fibers."

Carbs are in veggies as well...The greener the veggie, the lower the carbs usually is.

I'm not a nutrionalist so I can't tell you shit about "simple" and "complex" carbs (FYI veggies and fruits are both categorized as complex carbs)

But I can tell you from my own experience that taking out carbs as a whole got me shredded on the level as them Bartendaz. Everybody is different, you just got to experiment and find what works for you to meet your goals. I've been experimenting for years now. I signifigantly lowered my body fat watching my calories too, kept my calories at 1,800-2,200 per day...Had my abs that I always dreamed of but with little muscle mass.

40lbs in 40days is unrealistic and unhealthy.

Did you see his weight? If he stays consistent and put forth a 100% effort, I'm sure he could lose 30lbs in a month if he stays on a low carb diet. I lost 11lbs in a week doing a no carb diet before. It's wierd, I know most of it is water weight but I drink a gallon of water minimal per day on a no carb diet. I see results in as little as 2 days as well. As another poster said, it's extremely hard to stick with a low carb diet tho since we are basically raised on sugar these days.

I don't know about that Playa. My BMI was over 30% and I used to run about 9 miles a week. Before I starting taking CLA seriously (about a month ago) I lost like 5 pounds in 6 months. Since then I went from 234-222 in less than 6 weeks. I run less and eat less also. I drink alot more water too. My daily CLA intake is about 4grams and I stack that with at least 2 grams of fish oil.

maybe its dependent on the brand, but i've seen people roughly the same in weight and lifestyle lose the same amount of weight roughly with one group on cla and another group without it..


i've seen leaner people drop their bf% quicker on cla than those without it

Yeah man that plateau is REAL!:lol: Yeah and don't fuck around and baloon back. That's what happened to me. It was all because of my eating habits and not drinking enough water combined with me not taking supplements seriously.

The thing is CLA boosts your metabolism. I didn't know that. I thought it was only a catalyst to burn fat. All that damn running I was doing was for naught:angry: Looking back on it I could've been at my ultimate goal had I included CLA in my dietary supplements 6 months ago when I first started.

Too much protein can be a bad thing. I had a checkup recently and the doctor said I had traces of protein in my urine. Told me to lay off the protein shakes or risk fuggin up my kidneys. I guess too much of ANYTHING can be bad, even water
