It broke every record damn near. First movie to make over $100 million in a single day.I would've expected better numbers. Promos for this movie started months ago. Still 238 is nothing to sneeze at.

Yea the amount of promotions was crazy. Everybody jumped on the bandwagon. Even car dealers.I was referring to the amount of promotions the film received. I did say that 238 was nothing to sneeze at. But I did expect better and I'm standing by my statement.

The international numbers are a little soft. But the subways of this world made up the differences. The Verizon commercial is great.I would've expected better numbers. Promos for this movie started months ago. Still 238 is nothing to sneeze at.

Not really. The last film did too well. But when you have a great villain, anything is possible.Damn, "Spectre" flopped.
Not really shocked though.
This is where you're wrong. The film has no audience. If I were to guess, this is probably the most money either of these women have ever brought in. This movie would have been better as a Netflix release. Not shocked with all the money and tie ins spent advertising this joint over the past six months. You can't go anywhere or watch TV without knowing about it.
Whoever released Sisters was dumb as fuck. They could have made money if they didn't pick this weekend.

dude, almost $700 million before wednesday
the weekend was actually 247
if this weekend is 1\3 the number from last it will make a billion global
(another record?)
scary shit...no big block buster is dropping to take any of it`s shine...& xmas is on a fri...people gonna flood the theaters after all that xmas shit in the morning...
Nawh,
The majority of people that are going to see it come early to mid January are going to be repeat viewers(Die Hards). This is a good example of a movie that's front-end heavy! Those numbers are going to start to trickling in another 2-weeks I bet.
I think it tops out at about 1.6-1.9B. It definitely isn't going to overtake 2.8B to surpass Avatar and I will gladly bet you on that.

I BET U WOULD....![]()
