I would agree to this approach and am not too found of the regular season coasting, however if they keep getting the results who are we to question.. Matter of fact If it works and the Warriors lose, look for them to also employ this approach to the game..That's does two things:
1.keep them energized and excited that lue trust them enough to close games with them!!!
2. Show the starters, Lue ain't scared to bench you if your messing up, which in a sense could help them if they start being complacent!!!

I don't think they believe in scaring their vets as opposed to trusting them and making sure they have their rest. Like or hate it that's their philosophy..

All I know is that they made things harder for themselves in the regular season by cruising they way the do and do not give one flying fuck about the regular season.. The only game they really played was the Christmas game vs the Warriors, the rest was them sleep walking or playing at half speed..
