Aldridge, Melo had the chance to, Jimmy had the chance to... Nobody is looking for Miami Bruh... I ain't trying to mix in with you on it but lets be real, just like playing with LeBron, there are other more attractive options for KD than to go to Miami and play with a past his prime D Wade, an under achieving Joe Johnson, a talented but developing Whiteside, and Luol Deng. Dude doesn't have a lot of years left and frankly, he can't depend on the key players there, especially Wade, to be there at the end of the season when he needs them.
Golden State, Washington, even LA from the perspective of younger talent needing one or two key pieces are better options than Miami. Until they get a suitable stand in for D Wade, or until he's willing to take a lesser role, they are not as attractive a destination to be honest...
Like I said, nobody is going to other teams because of GMs, and ain't nobody putting Riley, Jackson, none of them Dudes on the top of their decision list...

Not really hard to be contenders in the east though.. but anybody with any degree of sense, especially players will take that with a grain of salt. Why would anybody, especially KD want to go to a situation that has more of an opportunity to put him right where he is in OKC at the end of the season, when he could opt to go to a GS for example, with a younger, less mileage and way more talented team than Miami?!?! As I said, there are far more attractive options for a KD than going to Miami... Far more attractive options..
