Curry was ass tonight.
Klay was ass after that 2nd quarter.
They were down Ezili which was pivotal against the thunders bigs.
Nobody hit that many 3's or back breaking 3's
played horrible in the entire 2nd half.
Durant put up 40 on 50% from the field
Westbrook put up a strong 27 and 12 assists or something
Canter killed it tonight.
And the warriors won by 8.


Just let that sink in.

And you can't say well the small ball. No it's not the small ball it's another player being hurt and nobody saying anything about it. Ezili would have gotten all the minutes that Speights got tonight he would have handled the boards and handled the defense on canter and everything else.

Late in the game championship teams win.

Im gonna keep it real man. It's not like he's a horrible player. Tonight he was missing layups, he was turning the ball over he was getting beat on defense he looked sluggish at points and just not his normal self.
Klay was extra smedium from the 2nd quarter on. But they find a way to win. the ball movement is why they win.
Green passed up a few easy layups trying to pass when he shouldn't have
But really it comes down to them missing ezili off the bench to help with adams/canter and ibaka

It is pretty simple and it surprises me that OKC don't get it. On a players best night he will shoot anywhere between 38 to 50%. When durant and Westbrook take all the shots it makes them easy to defend and statistically puts the other team in a favorable position because ball movement creates easy shots.

The best shooting you can hope for statistically with Isolation is about 50%. With ball movement you typically can get over 64% shooting. It may not seem like much but that 10 to 14% difference can be the difference between being down 4 or up 15

That's what it was gs played championship ball, thunder played regular season ball, gs hustled, got tip ins off missed shots, thunder did none of that and came close, easy fixes compared to other teams gs has played and manhandled

Westbrook and KD don't have a consistent third scorer to take the pressure off them.

Like I've been saying, KD and Russ will give you about 55-70, but the rest of the team needs to be able to get 50.

It's not Donovan either, it's a badly built team. They need to get rid of some of those bigs for a 2/3. That fuckin dookie gets run.

McGary has proven he can put up points and boards when he plays, but they are stacked up front and Kanter has a new deal. They lose players on good rookie deals and don't build them up

Time to make Collison a coach or something, but he needs to stop wasting a roster spot.

yall trippin if you cant see the thunder are a problem for golden state.gs was up 20 em...any other team in oracle thats a blowout .but okc came back. they got hardly nothing from the bench,took bad shots, committed turnovers like crazy and still made this a good game. this how they play every night......and still be second in the league in scoring. they played great defense on golden states 3 all stars....okc coaching staff got to correct one of those issues before playoffs. .....got to find a consisent third scorer....looking at you serge.

roberson hurt...he's their best wing defender.morrow and singler needs to bring something to the table. you dead on with collison...wish kevin martin would have stayed...he took his shots but couldnt handle being the third option. their length and speed will give golden state problems but these role players need to play their roles. all this time ashame harden still an issue tho....but that third option stilllll their main problem for getting over the hump...smh

Not really... One, he wouldn't be as effective as he is OFFENSIVELY in OKC because of how ball dominant Westbrook is... Also he would be 3rd option. Secondly, their problem wasn't totally offense last night. They put up numbers, their problem was defensive lapses. While he would help, he would mitigate a lot of that help with his weak ass defense, and teams like GS would exploit the hell out of them with his man. With their movement, you can't 'hide' Harden as he would constantly be beaten in switches and picks. He would make them that much more frustrating to watch in my opinion, that's why Houston is who they are to a point...

I totally see GS breaking the wins record this season and they may do it with time to spare... Thing with them is, everybody focuses on Curry, but their system and the way the players fit in to it, actually makes them only slightly less dangerous when Curry has an 'off' night. Take last nights game for instance, Curry didn't shoot well and Klay took half of the night off, and they didn't get much offensively from Green. GS doesn't beat your ass the whole game, they have 1 or 2 spurts a game that puts you away and then the rest of the game their system allows them to 'manage' the lead they have. There is not ONE team that can match them offensively so to focus just on the scoring aspects is foolish and contrary to popular belief, Kerr has put in one of the most effective offensive systems I've seen in years, as well as has gotten EVERY PLAYER to buy in to it.... Dude is a helluva coach, possibly the best overall coach in the league right now, and to put together such a system that a rookie coach can come in and run it for half a season, and break records with it is amazing...

Nobody in my opinion beats this team in a 7 game series, and they are underrated defensively too, they don't lock you down, but they play defense just well enough to compliment their offensive system. The most complete team in the league IMO...

Curry and Clay both had off nights including Draymond and OKC still could not take advantage of it despite Westbrook dropping 27 and Durant 40.

They still damn near lost by double digits. It had nothing to do with lack of hustle and help defense. GSW because of crisp ball movement had cleaner looks at the basket and higher percentage shots.
